Nothing surprising here, the Hawks are embarrassing.

Great comeback by the Rockets. I thought the Hawks might have pulled away with this one. Hawks are always close, but can't close it out, like the other teams that Wave mentioned. This must be a tough loss for the Hawks fans. I was kind of dissappointed that Franchise only got 4 assists, but very pleased that he got 24 pts. Great win by the Rockets.

There used to be a point in the season when 4 assists was good for Francis. This goes to show how much more improved his passing game has become.

Four assists was good for Franchise and yet he still had All-Star status? I didn't realize that. How can anyone manage to stay a starting point guard in the league and consider four assists good?

Rockets won't go anywhere til they trade Steve Francis and build around Yao, plain and simple.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Wave:</div><div class="quote_post">This game looked out of reach when the Rockets were down by fourteen near the fourth quarter, but like all young or innexperienced teams the Hawks folded in the last minutes. When you look around the league at teams like the Magic, Cavaliers, Wizards, and Hawks you'll see that they stay close in every game but fall apart in the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter there's just added pressure that some of these teams can't take. Their opponents step up their games while they dont.
    </div>

Thats totally true..Ive seen it happen with Orlando and the Cavaliers aswell...but everybody has to learn right?

I was right  Rockets by 7...I knew it was going to be close but I also knew that was going to happen..anyways I was wrong about Yao..

Im glad to see Jackson doing more for the Rockets this game after hitting that winning shot the other night...(Retire in Houston!!!!)

He started out as a 4 apg player this season. There was even a time when he had a few 1-4 assist games. That's why I made that reference. His passing, after the arrival of Mark Jackson, has been much more effective. It's pretty common to see him get 7 now.

Yeah, I remember last season when the Grizzlies were losing every game at the last second the announcers kept saying that it's natural progression for young teams. I didn't really believe him, but the Grizzlies added a year of experience along with a veteran coach and all of a sudden sprung up to the sixth spot in the West. It's a very true statement indeed.

If Yao gets a good game, Rockets should easily win this game.

great preview & recap franchise!

if they can get fully behind Van Gundy's philosophy then these cats will be a team to reckon with. I love Francis and I think they would make a huge mistake gettin' rid of him. When properly motivated he a true force for these Rockets.

Great win and comeback for the Rockets, stepping up in the 4th quarter...but it concerns me a lot that they had such a hard time with ATLANTA...just as it concerns me that they struggled against Chicago...if they're to be a top-6 playoff team in the West, they need to beat the lower teams more handily and not be forced to play down to the wire every game...

As I was saying earlier, it's not that Houston is lacking; the other teams are all just really good teams with bad records because they can't finish out the fourth quarter. Chicago and Atlanta have taken many top notch teams toe to toe and even beaten a few of them. However, I don't think Houston is a top six team in the West, because I feel Memphis is better. They're definitely above Denver though.

Great preview, real kickin' work. Thanks for sharing Wave and Franchise3. I think that the Rockets will dominate them entirely, they are obviously the better team on both ends, especially defense. You're one of the best defensive teams in the league for crying out loud.

Ratliff will be a tough nut to crack, same goes for SAR, but you have great defenders and an overly better team. I say this one goes to you guys easy, then again the Hawks usually upset great teams. Nothing Cato and Ming can't handle on the defensive end that is, anyway. I think Francis will play well, his much needed presence will prove real useful. I predict a good game from Mobley and Jackson as well.

I think Stephen Jackson can take out Jim Jackson on the offensive end. He'll probably provide well for the rockets though. I say a slightly easy victory for the awesome team, that is the Houston Rockets. Houston Rockets by 14 in an easy victory.

Great preview Franchise3, I'm really glad the Rockets won. It would be embarassing to lose to this team even though they have such great individual players, Diaw, SJax and SAR.

Still it is very difficult to beat such an awesome defensive team. Although they seem to upset so many teams, they beat my Timberwolves afterall. Either way, great game, congratulations and keep up the good work. Also try to win some more 17-34 isn't a good record. You guys are capable of so much better!

Anyway, again congratulations, tough loss Hawks, not that you would've won anyway. Nice preview yet again, thanks for sharing and continue to slaughter Rockets!

Sorry about something, I made a mistake, I misread the beginning of the preview I read the Hawks record, not yours. I like yours actually, 28-21 is really good. Just hope you increase that, because you are very capable. Condolences and apologies yet again.
