He?s the same coach that played 10 seasons for one franchise and stuck around for another 16 with the team he leads now. Add two NBA Finals appearances, two Olympic gold medals to his resume and now ? 900 wins
On Saturday, February 07, 2004, Jerry Sloan earned his 900th victory as an NBA head coach and joined impressive company which includes Lenny Wilkens, Larry Brown, Don Nelson, Pat Riley, Bill Fitch, and Red Auerbach. Of the seven, only Pat Riley and Red Auerbach have a higher winning percentage than the longtime coach of the Utah Jazz.

This is a good, lengthy article. It's a good read. Sloan is now 8th in total wins for coaches, with only 547 losses. He also has the most wins with a single team.

Jerry Sloan is someone I really admire. He's a really great person and coach. So dedicated as well as good. Even without Malone and Stockton, he stayed with the Jazz. That shows heart and love if you ask me.

His record is very impressive, just goes to show how great a coach is. Congratulations Jerry Sloan! He's my favorite coach infact, he seems to just have that magnetism. I hope he goes Hall Of Fame someday, it is well deserved. In the mean time, keep up the good work and I hope your team improves next season, we love you Jerry! By the way how is his wife doing now?
