<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't think I can say this strongly enough. John Carroll must go. The guy is in way over his head. He has all of Obie's coaching habits, with none of Obie's authority or credibility, and without Harter's defense. The team is playing badly, morale is incredibly low, and Pierce is already beginning to turn on his teammates. The team is dissolving before our very eyes. And we're even more offensively dysfunctional than ever.</div>

Great article from Hoopsworld, explains why the celtics need a new coach. Although according to Ainge the team may be in a rebuilding period why is it that Carroll is playing veterans who are no better than rookies. Look at the stat on the right. Why is Brandon Hunter not playing, same with Kendrick Perkins and until very recently Chris Mihm. This team shouldn't make the playoffs and hopefully won't. If Ainge really wants the team to rebuild, then why doesn't he tell Carroll to play the younger guys?

Good point, I don't know what the Celtics are waiting for to get a new coach. I say go for Frattello (I forgot how to spell and pronounce his name). And if Ainge wanted to rebuild why start by trading one of our best players in the team in Antoine Walker? that nots a progression, thats a regression, sure, Welsh might be proven useful in the future but who knows how long that will be....
