<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There was a welcome sight at the Timberwolves' practice Saturday. Wolves center Michael Olowokandi went through drills with relative ease and had an explosiveness on his dunks that many in the Twin Cities still are waiting to see from the player the Wolves signed to a two-year deal last summer. After traveling to Colorado to have his surgically repaired right knee examined by Richard Steadman, the doctor who operated on him, Olowokandi returned to Minnesota with clearance to start practicing all out with the rest of his teammates.</div> Link <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The excitement in Michael Olowokandi's voice was unmistakable, crowding out the caution and uncertainty that had tinged so many of his comments in the past four months. if he comes back healthy instead of gimpish like he was at the beginning of the year, then the wolves will be looking pretty good. on opening night this season he played about 12 minutes and i was just thinking "damn, hes the best addition weve made this year" after the first quarter, he had a sweet hookshot and lots of good post moves, but he played like 8 minutes a game after that. if they could get him to play half the game at least hed be another big weapon in the wolves impressive arsenal.
I really like Kandi, great guy, great player too. He may not be that fast but he makes up for it with great blocking ability, offense and boarding. I really enjoy watching him, he is younger then Johnson so I know he'll do better. I hope they use Johnson more now though, he's been trying hard and performing well. Same goes for Miller, apart from the fact he's not a veteran. I look forward to seeing him back in action helping the Wolves reach even further glory. Wally on the otherhand....well let's just say, I don't like Wally too much....
