.....wtf was this...here is what it was:

1)Bad coach decision.T-Mac HAD to rest starting the 4th quater...JD let him play the whole 4th quater...after a hard 3rd quater and with a 15 pts lead..thats just wrong.

2)Giricek didn't pass the ball to T-Mac at the end!! man I love T-Mac and I want him to stay here..but if if i was him ill feel like leaving the team after that play...you lost your best friend on the team(Mike Miller) for this 2 guys..ok a better team maybe but then you lose a game in National tv against the L.A Lakers when YOU the star of the game..probably a top 3 player in NBA and you were open in your home court for 3 ! Giricek got blocked 2 times....unacceptable.

everything was going great but when T-Mac got tired..defense drops.

if Im T-Mac I ask for Giricek to be traded or T-Mac to be traded...man this is just wrong...Walton made all those passes to a bad magic defense(Tired T-Mac) and they came back...the rest was history..like 4 important plays resulted on a Turn Over....man..

Now thats what I call a tough loss. They could have won if Tmac stayed in the game longer.

Very, very sad loss for the Magic tonight. That last play was truly horrid. In situations like that, you have to give it to your money man, especially when he comes off wide open for a shot you know he can hit.

I missed the game but from the sounds of we lost a game we should've won. i just read the recap and it says that the lakers were gaurding Tracy so bad that he couldn't get open so Gordan shot it. But what really pissed me off is that Rod Stickland got ripped. He's a veteran he should've never got ripped. Well that's why we Magic fans look foward to the next season. Damn this sucks.

I agree, give the ball to T-Mac.

Lets not just say it was bad Magic defense. It was good play by the Lakers second unit . Great game by Luke Walton, Derek fisher and the second unit.

T-Mac was playin great, he should ask for himself to get traded . Orlando is not going anywhere. Lets face it those who say they have a high draft pick and other stuff are fooling themselves. There is no impact player coming into the league. T-Mac has lost Darell and Mike Miller. Orlando doesnt really have a bright future and T_mac will opt out after next year. So its better if they trade him now cause his value is going to go down as time progresses cause his contract will be up. The Magic have no chance of competing for a chamionship for the next 4 or 5 years.

Figures. I glanced up at the TV at my work and we were up 14 starting the 4th, then I come home and find out we lose. 5 pts in the last 11 secs to lose. This is what kills us, no clutch play. We easily could be a playoff team in the east if we finished the games off down the stretch.

man im telling you if you are T-Mac this season you are only thinking on playing like the #1 player in the NBA in national tv and winning those games..getting individual awards and doing stuff like an individual (ASG) and Giricek just took this away from him..it was the winning shot..sad man real sad.

He probably would have missed the shot anyway. We all know how Tmac can't hit in the clutch, but I would rather take my chance with him.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TMac_OwNz:</div><div class="quote_post">strickland didnt get ripped...Lakers had 1 foul to give and they were going for the steal or foul.</div>

No matter how you put it, Strickland got ripped. Fisher didn't mind fouling him since they had a foul to give, so he went after the ball. Rod was handling it real carelessly, and Fish jumped on that quick, nice heads up play. Are all the games like this for you Magic fans? That is very frustrating, they had a 4th quarter collapse. I honestly thought had the ball went to Howard or T-Mac if DFish didn't strip rod, they might have scored. Howard hit mad key baskets down the stretch on the undersized Walton, which kept giving Orlando leads. And T-Mac did the same, it seemed like he was unstoppable in the 2nd half. But down at the end of the game, when Giricek got it, T-Mac didn't look open to me. He definetley couldn't have got the inbound pass, and by the time T-Mac came around up top to get the ball their was only 2 sec left and Gordan put up the shot. Great comeback by the Lakers, played solid defense in the 4th and had consistent scoring from the backcourt in this one.

Yeah, unfortunately, this is starting to become routine. Have a lead late, and then lose or make a great comeback and then collapse in the final 2 mins and lose by double digits.

It's sad when we can stop Shaq to the point where he does not dominate.. Stop Payton from not capitalizing.. Build a huge lead.... BUT WE CANT STOP LUKE WALTON AND DEREK FISHER?!

First of all.. Zaza played a great game.. I love it how he fouled shaq, and then just stuffed him, Start the man hes got guts for doing that to Shaq.. Second, Delclerq started soft, but i think he saw Zaza and started to foul him too.. Good job for once.. McGrady got a lot of heart for playing, you have to give him that.. Even though I said he shouldn't of played.. I am glad to say that it was partically worth it, if he would of won it then it would of been worth it, but since we only lost by two, Good job..

We lost to the second string basically.. Luke Walton, Derek Fisher(who should be starting on a regular team anyway) Kareem Rush.. We lost it to them.. Rick Fox hit the big three.. HIS ONLY basket of the game.. Rod messed up in the end.. I hate to say it but he blew his coverage on Fox, and he gave up the ball.. We wouldnt be in the postion if he stayed a little closer to Fox and made sure that Fox got some hands in his face so he had more of a chance of screwing up his release..

Whatever.. In all ends.. It was a great game.. I am exited that it was even that close..

Man, the Magic really need a clutch player to push them over the hump...Lets face it, T-mac isn't a clutch player nor are any of his teammates...Maybe the Magic should consider taking a run at NVE...he is on the trade block...
