he was pretty good there for two years. He dropped a doozy on Magic and the Lakers one night. I had forgotten about him. I was sittin' here thinkin' bout the Wolves and his name popped up...he averaged like 24ppg and 21ppg his first two years...came outta Ohio State I think.

Yah, I was reading up on him before. Of course, we sucked back then, so the leading scorer for the Wolves back then wasn't that great of an accomplishment.

I wouldn't say that...look at some of the teams he dropped some points on...

Yah, but no one else showed up to those games, it was basically him scoring. Your bound to get a lot of points if you're the only one trying.

I remember Tony Campbell well, along with Sam Mitchell, Pooh Richardson and even Tyrone Corbin. Those guys could light it up here and there, but not consistently. Those were a painful first two years.

Those were a painful first 5 years. Corbin was my favorite back then, but he never wanted to be a Timberwolf. He was mad that we got him out of the expansion draft.

Didn't expansion draftee Rick Mahorn refuse to show up in Minnesota? I seem to recall he didn't want to go from the NBA champs to an expansion team bound for rough times.

Doug West was pretty good back then as well. He had one season where he averaged like 20ppg in the early 90's. And sidney Lowe(current t-wolves assistant) was on that team with Sam Mitchell, Pooh, Tyrone corbin & Doug.
