Just my opinion. Can't a white boy use street slang? I do live in tha ghetto, have my whole life. That being said, I do have a decent grasp of the english language, yet I still use a more relaxed vernacular when around friends.....looks can be deceiving....just somethin to think about.</div>

I agree, lots of peeps are guilty of this....judgin' cats based soley on they speech. Happens all the time. I had an insurance lady tell me to cut out the "ebonics" so she could understand me. LOL Needless to say I was all over her ass after that.

As far as the english language....I know enough to get by [IMG]

I'm not a big rock fan..I'm always been a hip hop type cat..but I got to see both these acts...I saw Anthrax with Public Enemy and they both put on an amazin' show..it was during the Bring The Noise era...they both were fiyah in that show...i saw Rage during their abrupt tour with Wu Tang Clan and this show was off the chain! Rage is my only rock band that I truly like..raw energy playas and Wu Tang was on point as usual.

Are you talking Radiohead there??? Obviously from your thread

    They are way cool.

Dont like the hip hop gear, although it is taking over world wide!

I'm digging the alternate scene in England at the moment!

They aren't affraid to be different. Even if it means losing fans, by going away from what was successful! Props to them!

The 80's were a terrible era for music.

70's,90's and today is much better!

I cant believe Def Leppard are still out there with that bad hair! [IMG]

The 80's is considered the best to many people.

Def Leppard was not a typical hair band, they just rocked and put on a great show.

MetallicA has been 80's, 90's, and today.

Who's talking 80s without mentioning Tears for Fears?!

I totally left Coldplay off my list for some reason. Put them on there. I like Bush too.

Didn't catch them but I dont mind them He hits those high notes well!

They had the concerts on pay tv (cable to you) so I at least caught that!

I don't know why people rag on the 80's so much. It is what it is, just like any other decade of music. The only thing that really sucked was rock bands putting out these mushy ballads. But for the most part there was still plenty of good rock & roll.
