<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">You can take the last basket as your general, all-purpose paragon of why the Nets have been winning so many basketball games lately.

In some ways, it was just the icing on an 89-78 victory against Detroit last night, the Nets ninth consecutive victory and the eighth straight in the approaching-legendary start to Lawrence Frank's coaching career. In a lot of ways, it's the cake, too:

Jason Kidd had an open shot after a pick by Kenyon Martin, but decided to pass the ball to Martin, who had a decent shot but decided to pass to Richard Jefferson, who had a wide-open shot but decided to pass the ball to Kerry Kittles.

And by that point, the Detroit defense was so out of position, Kittles could have run up to the concourse at Continental Airlines Arena, grabbed himself a hot dog (with sauerkraut), washed it down with a soda, run back down to the floor and still had a wide-open shot ... but he just decided to shoot the ball right away instead.

Naturally, he made it. It pumped the Nets' lead to 11 -- all the games in the Nets' winning streak and in Frank's coaching career have been by double-digits -- and it provided a rather concise summation of why the Nets are suddenly the NBA's hottest team.</div>

Man, what is this coach doing? I haven't seen any Nets games lately. What's he done to improve them so much? He must be one hell of a coach. I wonder how long this'll go on. One thing's for sure though with what he's doing, he's truly improved them and made them even more of Gold Able.

His players know what this coach can do. He's a film-room rat. He breath and speaks basketball. He knows how to motivate his players before games. He will share some stories to motivate you. Bench players feel important coz they're being used in ball games.

Wow galing pala siya ano pare?(Translated: Wow, he's really good isn't he buddy). I love people who use the bench players. Man I wonder what his team'll be like next season, including the guy they draft.

The Nets energy level is back to what it use to be during the playoffs last year. And the players have their confidence back. Rj was talking about how he feels that they have their eastern conference champonship swagger back thats probably the main thing that was missing toward the end of the B.Scott era.

The good thing about this is, they enjoy winning and they point fingers on who made it possible! It's as if everyone is just contented that they're winning and they don't care if they're the top scorers or not as long as they made the win possible. Jason Kidd et al will tell you that their coach did it while Frank will tell you that the guys were responsible for the team. Talk about winning and enjoying at the same time.
