<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ice Breaker:</div><div class="quote_post"> It should be a close game, only because the Jizz are rarely blown out. KG will pull the Twolves to a victory, like always.</div> Really funny, I see the tragic just had a loss.........again. That's number 41. :bigthumbu . Fred Hoiberg has killed any chances of the Jazz winning this one, making cold blooded 3's. The Jazz did have a good shot at winning this one, they missed Arroyo more than I thought they would and they let the Timberwolves take complete control. Still they're not getting blown out to one of the best teams in the NBA.
Jazz 66, Timberwolves 77 Very low scoring game, but good none the less. Hoiberg hit some clutch shots to shut the Jazz's chances of making a comeback. Sam Cassell ended up with the game high 24 points, 7 assits, and 6 rebounds. Garnett got 17 points, 3 blocks, and 12 rebounds and Sprewell ended up with 13 points. As I already stated, Hoiberg made some clutch shots, and he ended up with a total of 10 points and 3 steals. On the other side of the ball, Andrei Kirilenko proved why he was an All-Star by scoring 21 points, grabbing 9 rebounds, and blocking 5 shots. Carlos Arroyo got ejected, but still ended up with 13 points. This was an All-Defensive game, hardly any offense in this one what so ever. But as long as the Wolves come out on top, I'm happy. Link
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Crossover:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm disappointed. Not only was it low scoring, but KG didn't make his usual double double.</div> Uh, he did. 17 Points, 12 rebounds.
That game was like a back alley fight. AK had 2 great back to back blocks of sprewell & Miller. The Jazz are a scrappy bunch. They find ways to slow downthe tempo of the game. The biggest thing for the t-wolves was that Ostertag didnt dominate the boards like he did in the 1st couple of matchups.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Wolves win 77/66 in a barn burner! j/k Game of defense clearly.</div> there was alot of channel flipping during this game.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Carlos Arroyo got ejected, but still ended up with 13 points</div> Aparantly he was talkin trash to Garnett... Good win for the Wolves... Hopefully they will turn the table of the franchises matchup with this win.
Most of you probably didn't see it, but Garnett showed some real maturity and intelligence in this game. Cassell was called for a foul, he disagreed and was waving his hands around at the ref, and got himself a Technical. Cassell then was going over to the ref that T'd him up but Garnett got in his way and grabbed him then took him away from the ref which basically kept Cassell in the game. The T-Wolves would've missed Cassell a lot in that one. Utah's inexperince hurt them, as no one stopped Arroyo. There's more to him than just the numbers .
