personally i like em. i watched the post game with em and he dont seem like a bad dude. i asked a few people and they still wanted to see ayers there and everything but u cant hate this man. he moved up, he coached a championship team back in the 80's, i think hes gonna be pretty good. like he said, its only one game but for the first time watchin him talk 2 the press, he seem like a cool dude to me. 29 more games left, i believe we'll make the playoffs with this guy. what cha'll think about em?

Remeber what happen last time, when AI spoke out about his team, and they had a good game against LA, and you guys though the Sixers were back...Well they werent. That game last night was probably another "one of those "games"". But if Ford can win at least 6-7 games in the next 10 games. We can talk as much as we want. But for now, we have to wait and see, what he can do. After the All Star break we play the Nuggets. They're a perfect team to play against to see where we stand, so if we can pull off a win against them, we can start getting a little confidence in the Sixers.
Last time we won against the Celtics was in November, not sure what you're talking about. It is absurd to even start a thread asking people's opinion on a new coach after his first game. What are we to base our predictions on, how he "seems like a cool dude."
Watching his post-game press conference last night, he seemed alot more into the game than Randy Ayers did in all his press conferences combined.

The Sixers will only get to the playoffs for one reason.....the inability of the Celtics to win ballgames. This isn't about the #8 spot, it's about "Who sucks worse"? From Ford's Boston days I can say he is a good guy and a knowledgable basketball guy.......but none of that matters if AI doesn't like him. Would you trade AI for Pierce straight up?
Ford has been in the NBA for a VERY VERY long time. The way the players treat these coaches is a damn shame.

Its hard to say right now...he's not doin a bad job but we'll see how things go down. Hopefully there is a good outcome.
