Snow in Orlando? Rumors say that Philly and Orlando have been in talks about Juwan and Gordy for Snow and other players. Will post the link later. I would love for Snow to come to Orlando. He is what we need a pass 1st PG, that knows how to play with a scorer. Now if only we could get something else somewhat good and throw in Declerq and Lue. http://www.philly.com/mld/dailynews/sports/7925251.htm is the link.
well it says it could include other players from both sides...I think Snow would be great..I also think T-Lue as backup would be awesome..but since it said there could be other players thrown in...they could include Declerq also..and we would get Snow and uh....who else? Mckie is kinda old I think ..they wont let Dalembert go...I dont know about this... btw , I tought it was that it had Snowed in Orlando I was like wtf lol.. EDIT: oh..Glenn Robinson?
No, we don't want Grob. I like Kenny Thomas. (he would be good, but we don't need him) We would likely get some expiring deals and possibly some picks hopefully. I think Snow is what the Magic needs, but I think we're giving up too much. Oh well, Gooden would get to play more.
as a philly fan the only player I would like to see on are roster is t-mac or drew gooden no one else
I am all for it.. If their contracts are the same(with snows being lower too) Then its a good deal.. We get to play Gooden.. We would have a steady PG.. And we can also Dump someone like Delclerq.. We better not get rid of Gordon.. For this reason.. We need to throw in a PG.. Maybe.. I mean, if we got snow.. that would give us around 5 point guards? I can settle with 4 because we could also put one on IR or move someone like Shammond to SG.. But.. 5?
hmm lue , williams , strickland , snow and gaines...well strickland will be gone..if not now next season...gaines will probably end up in charlotte...and if gordon leaves...that lets us play williams in his place..which i think is good so hmm we will probably get atrade from strickland..that will leave us snow , lue , another and williams can always play pg..
I think a good deal would be similar to this Orlando trades: PG Tyronn Lue (9.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 3.9 apg in 29.9 minutes) SG Gordan Giricek (10.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.7 apg in 29.9 minutes) C Andrew DeClercq (3.2 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 0.7 apg in 15.9 minutes) PF Juwan Howard (15.7 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 1.9 apg in 35.0 minutes) Orlando receives: SF Kyle Korver (4.0 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 0.4 apg in 10.4 minutes) C Amal McCaskill (2.1 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 0.4 apg in 11.2 minutes) C Derrick Coleman (8.5 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 1.5 apg in 26.7 minutes) PG Eric Snow (10.6 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 7.1 apg in 36.1 minutes) Change in team outlook: -13.2 ppg, -3.3 rpg, and +1.2 apg. Philadelphia trades: SF Kyle Korver (4.0 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 0.4 apg in 10.4 minutes) C Amal McCaskill (2.1 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 0.4 apg in 11.2 minutes) C Derrick Coleman (8.5 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 1.5 apg in 26.7 minutes) PG Eric Snow (10.6 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 7.1 apg in 36.1 minutes) Philadelphia receives: PG Tyronn Lue (9.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 3.9 apg in 48 games) SG Gordan Giricek (10.0 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 1.7 apg in 45 games) C Andrew DeClercq (3.2 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 0.7 apg in 51 games) PF Juwan Howard (15.7 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 1.9 apg in 53 games) Change in team outlook: +13.2 ppg, +3.3 rpg, and -1.2 apg. TRADE ACCEPTED Due to Orlando and Philadelphia being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Orlando and Philadelphia had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We do it to get rid of those 4 guys and give our younger guys more playing time. New lineup pg-snow sg-tmac sf-bogans pf-gooden c-zaza/hunter They do it to get a nice sg/sf in Gordan, They get Juwan Howard's veteranship and his 16 7 avg. Also I don't think that they like Derrick Coleman too much, so that would let them get rid of him. New lineup- pg-AI sg-gordan sf-grob pf-juwan c-dalembert I'm definetely a biased Magic fan, so is this deal fair for both sides or way one sided?
hmm i dont like this at all... first they will probably want this if they could deal juwan..which they would get a better pg therefore lue will stay in orlando..and i want that too..then look at mckaskill and declerq...declerq sux and averages more than him?...coleman is lazy...and i dont like him...but korver and giricek could be the same thing right now since they are both on a low...but i would still take giricek over kyle..so TRADE DECLINED...itll be a smaller one if it happens with the sixers
I disagree with you. Lue would have to be in it, because they need a pg, and we don't need 5. Juwan = Snow Giricek>Korver Declerq =McCaskill Lue<Coleman So it looks kind of even even though I think that the Lue/coleman difference is greater than the giricek/korver, so that would give 76ers a small advantage, IMO. I don't know if a future 1st would fill that hole.

Juwon is a good player but his contract is long and its not his fault its your horrible GM's.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TMac_OwNz:</div><div class="quote_post">snow is good..he is just frustrated right now...and lue<coleman? lol lue>coleman,korver....</div> What are you talking about? Id call them equal... Colemans going up in age... And lue isnt as good as hes made out to be..
Is that a rating? How can you rate coleman so low, and Lue so high? Lue is not great..If he was good as you think he should be, he wouldnt be sharing most of his time with strickland.. and he would be helping this team out more.. Coleman isnt great and he is getting down there as i said, but he is deffinatly not a 58, especially when you give lue a 72..
ok..maybe coleman could be a 62..but he is dropping very fast..and Lue is good enough to have over a 65...Im just tired of ppl underrating him..
Lue isn't that good. Coleman when he wants to can be good. It's just that he's really lazy and has a bad work ethic. Lue and Coleman are just fillers anyway. Snow is what we need Kid Canada. He's a pass 1st tall veteran pg who can play defense. We don't have that. We need someone to set Tmac up well. He can also hit a wide open jumper, and Tmac gives the PG's a bunch of wide open jumpers.
Trading Deadline Trades? What are some rumors for potential deadline deals involving the Magic. There's only a week until the deadline. Eric Snow and others for Juwan Howard and Gordan Giricek. Juwan Howard for Micheal Olowakandi. Steven Hunter for Mavs 2nd. I'll post some others later. If you hear any or want to comment on these, then post them in this thread.
Hunter to the mavs? where did you hear this? I also heard T-Mac for Rip and Okur lol..thats crazy but in gabriel's hand...anythin could happen...anyways that Juwan for Micheal is not that bad..but he is injured right?..
Yeah, I like the Howard for Olowokandi too... But then we got to get rid of Declerq... Otherwise you got 3-4 centers... Maybe you should get him in a package ... Like Howard- DeClerq + filler for Olowokandi & Wally... But they're both injured , so that ain't good either
