I dont know about a catwalk to the finals like everyone thinks it would be the Nets would give the t-wolves some problems. But aside from that I think KG like the competion of having to beat the best teams in the NBA to get to the championship. If your a great player & a great team, you want to play the great teams & players in oreder to win it all. I think MJ loved his titles even more because he had to go thru New York & the knicks/ Detroit & the Pistons in order to reach the top in the early 90's. So that similar to the wolves & all the teams in the west. The twolves should want to have to go thru the lakers & the Spurs.
The T-Wolves would play more "jump shooting" teams in the East, like themselves. Maybe that's why we do well against the West (who likes to pound the ball more) because we usually have a nice touch (case in point, the game against the Rockets when nothing would drop). Does that mean the East is more competitive, due to the fact that at the break, there usually is not a runaway 8 playoff seeded teams. In the West it seems the top 5 playoff teams are already decided by the ASG.
