<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ryo Hazuki:</div><div class="quote_post">That Kobe Bryant is vastly overrated? He never really seemed like anything special....and trust me, I have seen him play....alot. I know that he is a good player, and has some talent. However, I cannot stand it when people compare him to Jordan. Kobe can't even think about touching Jordan. Jordan is basketball. I still say that Shaq is the primary reason that the lakers have had so much success. What do you think?</div>

Overrated? Never seemed like anything special?? What the hell are you smoking??? The man has made more clutch/game winning shots than I can count. When he's healthy, he is impossoble to guard. Did you see last year when he had like 10 consecutive games with at least 40 points? You just dont see stuff like that every day.
While I agree he or anyone else should NEVER be compared to MJ, because there will never be another MJ, but you obviously dont watch much basketball if you truly think he is overrated.
People can say what they want about this being shaqs team and without shaq, kobe wouldnt have any rings but remember, it works both ways. Without kobe, shaq wouldnt be sportin 3 rings either.

Everything Kobe does in his career will be compared to Jordan. All Kobe wants is a shot to lead a team to the Finals and he certainly demands respect. So far, he has done some things that Jordan hasn't ever done. But I don't think anybody will be touch Jordan for a lil while. Maybe by the time Kobe retires...?

stupid topic but i'll reply anyway [IMG]

kobe already proved that he's one of the best. here's the scary part, he's still improving and no one can stop him but himself and of course, the law. if he gets through the trouble he's having right now, i think that he'll dedicate himself more to basketball more than ever.
