Haha, I am always talking about Shammgod. I could never get over how they let someone with that name into Providence. Anyway, he didn't make it. I think he played CBA for a while.
God Shamgod. I liked his days with Providence and hated it when he didn't make it. Any news on where he's playing now?

One more thing that is wrong with this thread....Everyone in here (except myself ) SPELLED HIS NAME WRONG.....its Sha<u>mm</u>god ...sorry, he was one of my favorites, so i just can't let stuff like that slide
Oh, wow. Why did I say Notre Dame? I knew he was from Providence. I questioned the spelling of his name too. Believe me, he was a favorite of mine as well. If I remember correctly, he only stayed on year in the league... 1998 with the Wizards.
Shammgod didnt make it in the NBA because he couldnt shoot the basketball well. Omar Cook is going thru a similar situation. But he is taking the NBDL route to try & get in the league. But its good to hear sham is still balling somewhere not really for sure if he'll ever get another shot at making it in the league. That time may have passed for him. But god was a great penetrator off the dribble.

Shammgod cost PC that game. He hogged the ball on the last play when Croshere was wide open under the hoop. As a PC fan I loved the guy but never after that
