I wouldn't lose respect for Pierce, TMac or AI if they ever left. They deserve so much than what they get. As for Kobe, ever since his recent maturity, I've really gained a respect for him.

Behind his formerly cocky exterior. I know he's a good person. How he's reacted to his situation showed me this. He didn't do it, and I know it. The All-Star game, he was wide open and he went for the easy bucket. That shows how dedicated he is to improving teams and their chances of winning. In that case the ASW team.

I'd hate to see him leave the Lakers. In my eyes, he is "the" Laker. He provides for them in every game he participates in, putting in 110%, usually succeeding. Anyone able to get their hands on him is very lucky. Such a smart and great player on both ends of the floor.

As for getting TMac, I say go for it if you want. I'd love him there, but isn't your team strong enough as it is. Always nice to have stars around in case of injuries though. Hopefully Malone and The Glove will improve their play so your team can finally get back into this.

If Kobe does go, I'll miss him. His change of attitude really showed me why he's the great baller that he is. The Lakers would be making a mistake and giving another team a gem of a player.

    lol..

I'm just trying to say that I wouldn't hate him to death if he decides to leave , meaning I'll understand why.

To me he is the best player ever. He deserves to win , and with Gabriel as the GM and JD as the Head Coach ..................... it'll be a while until he could win a championship with Orlando.

    hmm I didn't exactly get that but..ok..lol

He is the best player I've seen...after MJ ofcourse..I did get to see a few MJ games..like those games against Utah and stuff...anyways...he could probably be my number 2 after MJ..is just from what i've seen..not from stats of players I didn't even watch.

What I was trying to say was Tracy McGrady is the best player to you. Like when a little boy thinks his dad is superman and what not that was what I was saying you get it. Back on topic I still don't think this deal will go down anytime soon.

hold on ...You're calling me a kid now? oh no u didnt![IMG]

    lol jk..

I don't think this will happen either...I mean only way is if Kobe is gone..and that decision has to be made at the end of the season , Which means the Lakers will have to be without Kobe or T-Mac for at least next season then maybe the other season they might sign T-Mac if he decides to opt-out..which hopefully won't happen since we are having a great season next season!

I wouldn't be so sure about that, especially after the recent news about him wanting to buy the team. I wonder if Shaq discussed with Tracy about him buying the franchise in a few years.

Shaq is being a hypocrite. He wants it to be his team, yet he want McGrady? Shaq better recognize quick, and realize that Tmac is just as cocky and selfish as Kobe, probably more so.

I don't think Tracy is selfish and cocky. If he was alot of those games we lost because he kept passing it to his teammates and they couldn't come through with their shots we could've won IMO.

How can you list Tmac as your favorite player and be oblivious to his cocky nature?

Posters never cease to amaze me, lol. There's at least one a day.

Did you even read the article? Where in that does it say a quote by Shaq, saying "I want McGrady". If you actually read it, McGrady is putting the word out that Shaq might try to lure him in IF Kobe does not re-sign.

...Yo man grow up...if I'm not wrong I wrote "To me" ...meaning In my opinion and also if you could've read the other post I said "To me" he is the best I've SEEN , unfortunely I didn't get to see players like Magic or Larry Bird...(I also mentioned he is the best I've seen after MJ.)

Tmac's cocky, but I wouldn't consider him selfish, like you mentioned earlier TB.

I messed up and said I didn't think he's coky or selfish. My Bad. what I meant to post was I don't think he's selfish. As a matter of fact he's to unselfish at times if you ask me.

If you follow the Lakers (aren't you a Laker fan? [IMG] ) you would know that there has been speculation about Tmac and Kobes equality as far as ability and salary. Kobe leaves, and they bring in Tmac who makes the same amount. Shaq gets to keep his team, because whenever someone new joins they know to take a lesser role.

Purple N Gold never ceases to amaze me. You are the Laker equivalent of a VC groupie. Devean George for MVP anyone? [IMG]

I mean, I understand it but when you've been with one franchise for awhile, like Malone & Payton... I dunno, I don't see why. I find it rather rude.

Finding it rather rude for a player to come join the Lakers? You're acting like we're the New York Yankees of basketball. McGrady wants to play for a winner. He's tired of playing basketball in Orlando, he now understands Orlando won't be successful anytime soon, and he's close to Shaq. So what's the problem?
