It's all about Duke this year they're going all the way. Nobody will beat them the rest of the season. [IMG]

Duke does have a very good team this year however saying that they will win out is a bit premature. They still have a few tough games left this year. Here are some games which they could potentially lose:

    1. Duke at Wake Forest on Feb. 18th
    2. Maryland at Duke on Feb 22nd
    3. UNC at Duke on Mar. 6th

All three of those games will be intense and could all easily come down to the wire. The ACC Tournament will also be tough as any team can knock off any other team on any given night. In addition the NCAA Tournament will be no cakewalk. Teams like Stanford, Conneticut, Louisville, UNC and Kansas as well as many others can all beat any team if they play well.

Duke has the talent to win out however it will be no cakewalk.

Duke is having a great season and i too think they will go all the way, but they still have some tough challanging games ahead of them you can't say that they will win for sure.

I think Duke will finish the regular season with three losses, one to Wake Forest (or UNC) and one in the ACC tournament.

I don't understand that statement though. Stanford, Connecticut, Louisville, and Kansas don't really play well in the tournament. Stanford has no big history, Connecticut hasn't gotten far since the 90's, Louisville always gets knocked out early (Like last year when Butler beat them. They had Gaines and Stone, Butler had... ?), and Kansas hasn't won a thing in decades. If I were to be worried about any teams other than Duke in the tournament, I'd be worried about Arizona, Wisconsin, Kentucky, and Texas.

I truly believe that Vanderbilt will be a spoiler to someone this year in the tournament. These cats have played everyone hard and are usually in games until the end I think everyone is underrating these guys. They probably won't win the title but they'll be a roadblock for someone.

They haven't played well in the tournament in the past however that is the past. Every single one of those teams has the chance to win the Big Dance this year. Just because a team doesn't compete well in a few tournaments is no reason for them not to be included under the list of teams that has the possibility of knocking off a Duke or another top ranked team.

The list of teams you gave should certainly be put up there with teams that have the chance to make it deep into the Tournament. I would add Gonzaga to that list as well. They usually do well in the Big Dance.

There are so many teams with the talent and coaching to make it deep into the Tournament. The Duke games just shows you that anyone can beat anyone on any given night. As Shard87 said, "That's college basketball."

kvh4fan said that as well. Except for that every team. It's true though, no one really has control over anything and anything can happen at any given moment.

Duke is an excellent team and have the ability to go out with a very good season. However no team's perfect, always room for improvement. As common as it sounds, everything has a weakness and challenges stress on these weaknesses.

Anyone can come out on top, either way though, everyone's gonna have a hard time against them as they will have against them as well. It's just the way, this sport was made to be played, "It's any man's game."
