I think people are getting a little off topic....talking about things that happened 3 years ago. C'mon people lets get back to reality now.

    Any Predictions On Gg's Trade

This is some people I would like to see GG pick up at least one of these players would help I think Tsakalidis, Pryzbilla, Mo Williams, C.Blount, M.Blount, D.Fortson, M.Ely, E.House. These are just some names but I truly feel that we will get either Haywood or Harrington or Laettner. What do you predict GG will do?

Ya get Haywood, hes exactley what the Raps need. Hes 7 foot, so he matches with big centers, and rebounds very well. I think he will do much better in Toronto than Washington. I also think in this trade we should get a point guard. Thats are other need, and washington is stacked at the pg, and C-PF position. So I say get Haywood, and one of there point guards. But we better get Haywood!!!!!

Stupid GG will probably not be able to do any good trades before the deadline.

That would be awesome if we got dixon and Haywood. the Raptors, won't do the trade unless they get Haywood I think. If we get Dixon and Haywood the raps would be a much improved team from the trade. Dixon could help Jalen Rose at the point, and Haywood would be a great addition that is much needed in the frontcourt. That would really help the 2 positions that need the most help. If they do this trade there better be Haywood in it.

    Rose/Dixon/Williams
    Carter/Williams/Dixon
    Marshall/Carter/Murray
    Bosh/Marshall/Baxter
    Haywood/Bosh/Baxter

Dixon is better than the almighty Roger Mason Jr at least. Since all you Raptor fans can support him, why not a Maryland product? thefranchise3 would probably love it lol.

I would be thrilled if Dixon came, however I don't think hed be a good fit. Hes only really productive when he logs more than 15-20 minutes, that we can't give him. If he were to come here it would be a waste, he averages 17 minutes per game in Washington, since we can't give him that he wont be as productive. For his sake I'd rather leave him in Washington where he can actually get some playing time and develop.

True, he needs minutes to produce, but if he gets the minutes, he can probably outplay Milt Palacio. If he wants it and tries hard, I'm sure he can get the playing time he desires. From what I've seen of him with Maryland and in Washington, he can deliver when asked to.

Nope he meant Othella [IMG] . It's because there was a rumour going around that we might get him and give up Michael Curry in a three way deal with Atlanta and New York. But thankfully it probably won't happen since Atlanta and New York already made a three way deal with the Bucks earlier today.

    Grunwald and trades?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Toronto VP Glen Grunwald was ordered by superiors not to acquire any players under contract past this season; so much for getting Harrington, who makes $3.1 million for '04-'05, or Christian Laettner from Washington for Michael Curry, Michael Bradley and Mo Peterson.</div>

Yea it would be better if they have enough cap space to sign a decent center.

Which decent center will be avaliable? Erick Dampier? I think the Raps have a better chance of getting him via a trade as they just won't be able to afford him, considering Rose and Carter's salaries clog up that much cap space.
