That was junk. The first two competitions were stupid and nobody was even giving a good effort in the Skills competition. Davis won, but he was going at about half speed. The 3 point shoot out was decent, but the dunk contest sucked. Other than JRich's between the legs off the backboard dunk, it was a sleeper. Only 4 dunkers? 2 rounds? Ending on back to back missed dunks? Give me a break. Not to mention commercials every 2 minutes and Craig Sager's ugly ass suit. Put up big bucks for the dunk contest and save the weekend before it becomes a bigger joke than it already is.
Yeah if J-Rich could have made some of those dunks the place would have exploded. other than that it was pretty lame.

to tell you the truth the most exciting part of the night was Korver almost winning the 3 point shootout.

People shocked that Korver could shoot....that is all he has been good at, not sure where the shock factor is there, and he damn sure did not almost win it, because last I checked, he did not come in 2nd. The 3 point contest remained the best part about Sat night, as usual. Dunk contest was a joke, scrap it, good bye, lets not ever see it again, EVER. Skills comp. was a sleeper too, they were jogging through it and expecting to make every shot, then having to step back to fire again....I agree with Chuck, they should have combined the scores. The commercials every 2 in helped take away from everything even more, it was hard to try and stay awake during the whole boring thing. The NBA sucks balls.
That dunk contest was so boring I found the discussion my roommates were having on affirmative action at the time more interesting.
ha, I told people right after the rookie game that we will not see better dunks in the dunk contest....but those biased J-Rich fans are still that anyway...biased.
