St. Joe's SHOULD be #1 right now. Stanford's schedule isn't any harder and the Pac-10 sucks. Come on, go to collegerpi.com, and see which team has the better RPI, St. Joe's or Stanford. See which team has a better SOS, St. Joe's or Stanford.

It's St. Joe's! Stanford's wins over Arizona and Kansas don't mean as much as you'd expect because neither of those teams is top 25 worthy.

That's only half a game ahead of Washington. What's Stanford? 14-0, so a good team could be winning. Face it, the Pac-10 isn't exactly SEC calibre this year, and yet, South Carolina (7-5) and LSU (7-5) aren't ranked. And what about Michigan St.? Sure, they lost a lot early, but I'll take 10-3 in the Big Ten over 9-6 in the Pac-10, regardless of how poorly the 10-3 team started.

But anyway, St. Joe's should be #1.
