Those 4 games could really deciding if the Wolves can get that 1st seed heading into the playoffs.

If only Wally, troy, & kandiman were ready. It would help to make those games look a little more inviting. T-wolves need to go at least 2-2 in those games with won of the Wins being against the Kings or Spurs. Sam, Spree & KG have to bring their A games. This is like 4 straight playoff games. And Sac-town & Detriot are back to back games. Does a back to back get in harder than that? You have to prepare for two totally different styles of play. They will have to run up & down with Sac-town on thrusday & then get into a slow defensive war with the Pistons the next night, Kinda crazy. I think tuesday game against the Suns is extremely important. They need to get back to their winning ways as soon as the 2nd half of the season starts. And they need momentum going into those group of etremely difficult games.

This is great, they'll be very entertaining due to their difficulty. Another chance to prove just how and why we're and have such a great team. Looks like we'll have to use Hoiberg and Hassell quite a lot so we can get in some great defense.

I think we'll have a hard time against all of them but will probably pull though out of most of them, if not all. I'm hopeful against the Kings, thank goodness they don't have Webber along for the ride. He'd overpower us completely. Also Brad Miller is out.

Detroit have awesome defense, we'll probably have to work hard on that too, in order to pull in a win and win with the easy buckets. San Antonio will be a sad sight for the both of us. It's good they have Parker, Ginobili, Bowen and Duncan. However the rest of the roster prove to be unimpressive. Except for Malik Rose.

Also they have an awesome coach by their side, Popovich. But we have Flip Saunders. That'll be a great matchup too. Two star coach calibers against one another. Milwaukee will be fun, Van Horn will probably prove how unuseful he is. However Redd can attack us even with defense on him. Desmond Mason is one heck of a sixth man so we better watch out for him as well.

Good luck to everyone, I just hope we come on out top in every one of these games.

Yeah this could be a make or break week for the Wolves. I think it will be a good one though.

This is a crucial week indeed. But I think we will win 3 out of those 4 games, losing to only San Antonio. Should be a fun week.

Might as well start up the rivalry and excitement for the Timberwolves' game against Detroit. The Pistons forum needs another record setting thread. [IMG]

I think Minnesota will win 2 of the games. Losing to Detroit and either San Antonio or Sacremento. Minnesota won't win against Detroit because the Pistons will come out with all the energy in the world and the crowd will be in the game from the tip-off. Also, if Darko plays for 10 minutes and happens to guard Garnett, that will be fun to watch. :P (Won't happen, Brown would sub him out though.)

If Minnesota goes 3-1 during this week, there is no possible way that anybody could have any doubts about them being the best team in the league. (Assuming that the loss is to Detroit and not Sacremento.) Good luck Minnesota.

Are any of those game nationally televised? I know the Kings game is and I'm gonna watch it. I could see us going 3-1 or possibly 2-2. I think we will beat Detroit and Milwaulkee but San Antonio and Sacramento will be though.

Apparently, this energy was not enough against the KNICKS.

Oh well, anything can happen in this league, I'd like 3-1 though.

PyroManiac you seem pretty confident that the Pistons will beat the Wolves. We'll see about that, I think the Wolves will roll through the Pistons because the Pistons have really fallen off since their hott streak.

I think its damn possible the the Wolves could take all 4 of these... 3-1 at worst.

The wolves have a very tough schedule this week, but i think it all comes down to Sacramento. If they can beat the kings it will give them a boost going into the next few games. This will be exiting to see if the wolves can come out ahead this week with all of the hard games.

Tough, no doubt. But I think the Wolves will be successful with everyone back. I see them going 3-1.

I think the Detroit game just got more interesting. Will we have a better or worse chance beating a Detroit team without Atkins, Hunter, Rebraca and Sura and with Sheed and James in their 1st game as a Piston?

KG usually outplays Rasheed Wallace, so the Pistons can expect another ass-kickin'.

Difference is, KG has to deal with not only Sheed but Ben

It's not known if Sheed or Mike will play though.

I still believe that Minnesota will lose against Detroit, especially if Rasheed and Mike James play. However, without these two, Detroit would have no depth at PG or SG. It will be an interesting game to watch though, that is for certain.

Well, if Kandiman plays then KG has some added help that wasnt their in the 1st Pistons/wolves matchups nor any of his matchups with Rasheed when he was on the Blazers.

Johnson wouldn't have been able to contain him at all? That's a good thing then, plus Kandi is great at inside scoring, he'll undoubtly provide well for them. I hope Miller, Johnson, Hoiberg and Madsen get some good playing time. Especially Hoiberg, having him and Hassell defending is dangerous.

Miller and Johnson try really hard and did well for the time Olokowandi was out. I see them deserving quite a bit of time to rest Olokowandi as well as for their own sakes.
