Word on the street is that Troy is going to be back tonight. And Wally will be back Thursday. Olowokandi will sometime late this week early next week.
That's great news. Will Troy be starting at the 2-guard spot tonight? I think him and Sam would be a great double guard duo.
No. The starting lineup won't change for a while. Trenton has proven why he is there, and I don't think it will change when Wally gets back, either.
Yeah that is probably for the best. Trenton Hassell has really proven himself. Is is one of the most underrated players in the league.
Well, Olowokandi is also due this Thursday now with Wally. Everybody should be back on Thursday. The question is who will they put on the IR to make room for all of these players? I say Darrick Martin is gone, so he won't even be on the roster. So it will have to be 2 players put on the IR for these players. I think they will put Ndudi Ebi on for sure, but either Ervin Johnson or Oliver Miller are going to have to be put on the IR to make room for Olowokandi. Who do you think it should be? I'm going to have to say Oliver Miller, because Big Erv can hold his own down low and he is a good big body to have around.
That's great news! I would think that they put Oliver on the Injured Reserve, also. He is a better passer and scorer, but we don't need another scorer, we need a solid defender and a good rebounder, and Ervin gives us more of that.
Its good everybody will be back for the Kings game or right after. I think the two people that should be gone are Derrick Martin and Oliver Miller. Niether of them have impressed me, but if Miller would chop off about 20 pounds he could be the perfect back-up center, except Johnson is playing well this year.
OK, I am confused about the IR. Aren't we allowed 12 players? If so, we will drop Martin and put Ebi on the IR leaving us with everyone else. Cassell/Hudson Sprewell/Hoiberg Hassell/Szczerbiak Garnett/Trent/Madsen Olowakandi/Johnson/Miller Neither Johnson nor Miller would need to go to the IR. That lineup above just looks so good to me!
This is definitely great stuff, we'll have a younger big man back. Ervin can take a well deserved rest. Also our offense will definitely be up, through Hudson, Sczerbiak and even Olokowandi. I'll just be happy to see him prove once again why he was a top 5 center. As much as I hate Sczerbiak, it'll be good to have him back. He'll be using his attitude, tenacity and offense, therefore he can share the load with the better of them. Hudson, he works hard and will provide some great energy for us. Olokowandi can handle a lot of things for us and help the rest of the team on overall defense as well as his great inside scoring. Looks like we'll just become even stronger. Hopefully the new team rotation won't peeve anyone off, *hint hint, Wally*.

That lineup is hard to compete with, everyone there is solid(except for maybe Johnson, who has his off nights).
The t-wolves better not drop D. Martin, they better put him for the rest of the season & then put him on the IR. The t-wolves need a 3rd point guard just incase Hudson goes down again. And you cant keep signing different point guards to 10 day contracts. You have to decide on a point guard and keep him, so he can learn the offense & the players. You cant have that backup point guard position being a problem come playoff time. All the top teams in the west have solid or above average backup point guards LA has Derek Fisher, Spurs have Charlie Ward, And of course the Kings have bobby Jackson. The t-wolves dont want to be the only top west team without any back pg help if Hudson goes down. They need to find a spot to keep D. Martin. I think the Return of Kandiman is extremely important as well. The t-wolves need some type of low post pressence besides KG. And the t-wolves dont rebound well. If kandiman could give the t-wolves some type of inside pressence in the low post & on the boards, then they become a totally different team. Right now the t-wolves dont get enuff second chance pts & give up way to many 2nd chance pts. Having another rebounder should help to fix both.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Henacy:</div><div class="quote_post">The t-wolves better not drop D. Martin, they better put him for the rest of the season & then put him on the IR.........</div> I still think they want to wait on Rod Strickland (if he's going to be available)
Im not banking on Troy until I see him back for at least 2 weeks... he keeps coming in and out... Can't wait for the big man to come, and I hope he comes back with a chip on his soulders... he can really improve the team.
This is defenitly good news, but my only worry is with those players being out so long how will the team click together right away. I think they should keep practicing for a week or so before they come in to make sure that they are healthy, and that the team will know what to do with different people in the game.
I don't think it will matter. They are coming off the bench, and if they don't click, we always can get Hoiberg and Johnson/Miller in there.
