    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting TMac_OwNz:</div><div class="quote_post">T-Mac is probably a top 10 defender in the league right now.</div>

You're kidding right? Everytime the Magic are on national tv, the announcers harp on Tracy for being concerned about scoring only and neglecting other aspects of the game such as defense, rebounding, etc.

He has the physical ability to be a top 10 defender in the league some day, but until he starts exerting himself more, he will be nowhere close. I'm afraid you're letting your favoritism blind you.

No one ever did, from what I saw everyone was just saying he was a contender for it.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting TMac_OwNz:</div><div class="quote_post">What are you guys talking about???

Best player on offense Allen Iverson? I don't think so...You guys could've probably answer with PPG but check this out:

    just updated:
    G FG FT PTS PPG
    1. Tracy McGrady (Orlando Magic) 51 496 282 1,403 27.5
    2. Allen Iverson (Philadelphia 76ers) 40 381 283 1,097 27.4

Not to mention you divive T-Mac points by 51 not 40.</div>

Why are you hating man? This is BY ALL-STAR break. Who was the leading scorer AT ALL-STAR BREAK? And its not all points, AI also gets those assists out, more than T-mac. Check your stats too, AI is gonna take that lead again pretty soon [IMG]

Notice how all people change to T-mac? Lol. Leading off false information, remember its at All-Star break. Everything is not just points, maybe thats why the Magic are where they are today?

    Anyways heres my take:
    MVP - Kevin Garnett
    MIP - Zach Randolph
    ROMidY - LeBron James.Carmelo Anthony
Best player on offense - Allen Iverson
Best player on defense - Ron Artest
    Best team - Sacramento Kings
    Biggest surprise - Milwaukee Bucks.Nuggets.Grizzlies
    Biggest disappointment - Orlando Magic
Biggest trade - Stephon Marbury traded to the Knicks
Coach of the Mid-Year - Rick Carlisle

Its basically the same list for everyone, but theres one thing everyone should agree on, and thats the MVP.

No one is sayin the lakers for biggest dissapointment, i expected HUGE things from them this year, they have let me down, i didnt expect too much from the magic, but no one would ever expect them to suck this bad. You also gotta remeber the suns for biggest dissapointment, i remember before the season started nba.com's power rankings had the suns at like 7th! now there hangin around 26th.

MVP: Kevin Garnett-Double double night in and night out, top 5 in scoring, league leader in rebounding, top 15 or 20 in almost every other statistical category, and, he has his team on top of their division 4 games ahead of the defending champion Spurs.

MIP: Zach Randolph-No question about it, he's getting a double double average, and, he's leading his team in points and rebounds. He's been great, but, it also helps he's finally getting his minutes.

ROMidY: Carmelo-James may have better stats and all, but, the stat that matters the most, wins, James is lacking in. Currently, if the playoffs started today, the Cavs would miss the 8 seed by 2 games in the Leastern conference while the Nuggets would be at the 6 seed in the powerful West I believe. That's why Melo gets it. Plus, he's put up damn good numbers himself.

Offensive Player: KG-No explanation needed now
Defensive Player: Ron Artest-Shuts down practically everyone he goes against and got robbed last year.

Biggest Surprise: Nuggets-People say the Bucks, but, I believed they were still good despite losing their back court. But, the Nuggets came from nowhere. Melo has been the staple point on that team and is a huge reason why they win.

Biggest Disappointment: Magic or 76ers-It's a toss up, they each should've been good by getting 2nd scorers for their stars but neither have done much. Currently, they're each out of the playoffs and neither has the same coach from the start of the year. That tells right there how good they've been.

Trade: Starbury to the Knicks, absolutely huge and has turned them around completely. He's brought a winnning demeanor to them and they're gonna be a threat in the East come playoff time.

Coach: Jeff Bzdelik-He has been great all year for the Nuggets. He's got his team winning and in the playoffs. He's also seemingly got a handle on the team chemistry cause they seem to play together great. But, lots of the credit has to go to the GM, not just him, for assembling this team.
