Utah is negotiating a trade to acquire Gordan Giricek, a 6-foot-5 swingman with the Magic, two NBA sources said Tuesday. The Jazz can get a close look at the 26-year-old Croatian tonight, when they visit Orlando (5 p.m., FSN).
Jazz vice president Kevin O'Connor would not confirm Tuesday that he is interested in Giricek, saying only that he has had conversations with several teams and still expects to make at least one trade by Thursday's 1 p.m. MST deadline. </div>

They need a player of Giricek's calibur. Especially since Harpring went down. They need the three-point threat as well.
