I will say this about next season. I highly doubt that I will be part of a fantasy football league that has more than 24 teams (12 per draft). The talent is way to thin and with the injury situation, it's just ugly at times. It's also been an issue running a league of complete strangers with so many differing opinions. I'm not here to offend anyone or have major issues everytime we turn a corner. I wanted this league to be fun and enjoyable to all involved and the lack of committment by a handful of teams ruins it for everyone else. I also suggest we elect a head commissioner and a two-headed rules committee. Everyone votes, the head commissioner (HC) runs the league (whether it's yahoo, sideline, or any venue) and the two sub-commissioners (SC) w/the HC vote on rules, trades, and regs for the league. They have the final say on all controversy and everyone agrees to it. I don't like things to be done half-assed in my own life and I can't say that I'm any different here. Just wanted to get some things off my chest and vent a bit....
I think I can at least speak for those of who have been or are commissioners of other leagues when I say I understand perfectly. Differing opinions are OK, as long as they are reasonable. You've done a good job so far this year in spite of the situation in which this league has been established. Given this is a group of no-faces, I'd say its going fairly well. This is a NO-MONEY league that is for fun between people who like to talk football. We are all competitive, but getting upset over the little stuff is crap. Thanks for your time and effort SF.
I thought any more than 10 teams is too many, because we use 2 backs, there are not 20 true starting backs.
I'd prefer 10 per conference BF1, but 12 is still managable. We'll see how it pans out this year and maybe move to a 20 team format next year. That would be ideal.

I assumed you would keep a backup, he would not be as quality but even in 10 team 2 back league if you back goes down you would not get quality.
SF, I just like to say I think the league has run as smooth as it possibly could run for a league with some many different people in it....I have no problems with how this league has worked and though it's tough in a 15 team league when injuries arrive but with the IR ability it basicly takes care of the lack of depth in the league...though I will agree a 20 team league would be ideal and judging by teams already not putting in lineups or whatever it sounds like we should be able to cut down to that easily by next year. Thanks for your work...I commish my two money leagues and its even worse sometimes when you see the people all the time and everyone fights about trades and what not. it sucks I feel your pain.
Yeah; What SF said. It required a great deal of patience waiting for all the replies and then adding all the johnny come lately's and then trying to keep Dawk pacified. Breakdown of leagues & conferences was not taxing but would not want to do the whole thing next yr. We should just break into little sub groups of people on this site i.e. I wouldn't mind being in a league w/ SF, td4td, chip, the other dwo-ites, a few of the Pats fans, & few friends here in Utah. There are plenty w/ commisionary experience like Pats37 who could run 1 league. I don't mind helping in anyway possible (like this yr) but don't want to be in charge. I prefer to be the power behind the throne.
I say we just have a count in June of this year and see who is still active and whose not and we progress from there last year we were just throwing names in their
