Key's To The Game

    Jazz

    Get the ball to Kirilenko
Find a way to stop McGrady
Don't let Juwan Howard start scoring inside
    Arroyo needs to step up

    Magic

    Get McGrady going
Control the inside with Howard, Zaza and Gooden
    Create turnovers
    Run the ball

    ThaLord's Prediction

If the Magic play like they've done so far they won't win this one. If McGrady doesn't get some help it'll be very dificult come out on top against a pretty good balanced Utah. If Kirilenko steps up for them they shouldn't have much trouble to take away a win in Orlando. The Jazz play bad on the road, but so do the Magic at home(well, actually everywhere) so that won't be a factor. If Gooden plays well for the Magic they should come pretty close but I'll take the Jazz in this one...

Hey nice preview , I hope everybody steps up and plays hard tonight after T-Mac's comments yesterday night. Actually the trading deadline is tomorrow afternoon if I'm not wrong , that's probably why we havent done anything yet, they want to see how some Utah players play and Utah wants to see how some Magic players play (since there's been some rumors about this 2 teams involved in a trade).

After last night's game I'll start, or at least bring on as backup Shammond Williams early in the game. I think him and T-Mac on the floor at the same time or when we are up by 5 and T-Mac needs to sit down HE is the guy that could maintain that lead , he is awesome hopefully he will play tonight a lot.Hunter will probably play a lot too I'm ok now that he is traded...from what I've seen lately he's got nothing but powerful dunks , which I love ..but that's not enough for us..as long as we can get something good for him..I'm up for it. Carlos Arroyo will play against his favorite player which will probably make him happy if he gets traded or wants to sign with the Magic next season.

I'll take Magic by 6 , after the comments by T-Mac and early start from Shammond.

Well I said I'm going with the Magic because hopefully those comments to the media from T-Mac will encourage them for tonight's game.

I just can't say Magic lose by 10. I either say we will win or I hope we win. Now I don't really care if we win or lose as long as we don't lose by a lot ..I want to see T-Mac play everynight...That's why I havent miss 1 game this season.

Magic will keep it close, but collapse at the end and make the game look farther away then it was. Jazz by 9.

Nice preview. We are going to lose this game yes. But we can make it close if everyone plays great ball and respond to McGrady's outstanding play with some outstanding play from themselves. Maybe we can get up some D for a while and have a lead. I just can't see the Magic winning anymore. Jazz by 5 [IMG] [IMG]

Jazz by Double Digits... I dont usually say a score, but i think its obvious we cant play to win this, but to get people interested in Juwan and Lue...

And Giricek hopefully give the Jazz some tapes of Declerq playing and hmm that's about it.

EDIT: Hunter is starting Finally , now he is probably starting because he is going to be traded...but at least I did get to see him starting..just had a dunk and a defensive play.

Way to take a charge, Drew.

Magic are up 75-58 with 8 minutes left in the 4th... I think they've got this one in the bag unless the Magic start playing like the Magic :P. Another disappointing road trip for the Jazz.

Steven Hunter is a blocking machine, T-Mac with another 40+ point game. Tracy only needs 12 more points and he will reach 10,000 total career points, and I think it's pretty safe to say that he will have at least 12 points in the Magic's next outing against Denver this Friday night.

    Great win for the Magic.

We better keep, and start hunter.. seriously, we all know he was capeable of this..

I didnt expect this.. This is very good.. I hope we can make some deals to get Howard out.. We could really play well with a line up of Gooden, Hunter and Bogans in the front..

Yeah they responded to T-Mac once again...but as he said..."it shouldn't take me to criticise them for them to play like that just some dignity and selfrespect."

anyways , looking at this game you are like whoa..we don't need a trade , how come we lost the last 2 games by 20+ ? there's only 1 difference. Steven Hunter was a starter...he had 5 Blocks!6 Pts 3-4FG and 8 rebounds...I heard the commentarist saying if he plays like this he could be the starting center so they havent heard any rumors about Steven [IMG] maybe of Declerq [IMG] anyways ..T-Mac just had one of his usual games...43 pts 8 rebounds 5 assists..

btw , this raps up our "Winless February" huh?...

    Wow

    Magic won!

McGrady had 43 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists

He actually had team support as 2 other Magic players scored in double digits. Juwan Howard had 20 points and 9 rebounds while Giricek added 15 points. Hunter had a great game: 6 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocked shots.

Quoting :

NBA scoring champion Tracy McGrady topped 40 points for the second consecutive night to help the Orlando Magic end a couple of losing streaks.

McGrady scored 43 points to help the Magic snap an eight-game slide and a five-game home skid with a 90-77 victory over the Utah Jazz.

McGrady scored 27 points in the second half before leaving with 40 seconds remaining when he aggravated a lingering back injury.

The All-Star guard poured in 41 points Tuesday as Milwaukee routed Orlando, 127-104. After the game, McGrady chastised his teammates for lack of effort.

Nah, but check out the box score for the Bucks game. Hmmm..what did you predict for that one? [IMG] [IMG]

    Enough said

I predicted Hunter playing 20+ mins ...didn't happen and they didn't even try...anyways All I complained about was we were going to win at least 1 game..and home record doesn't mean anything because we beat the Pacers in Indianapolis when they were like 18-4 at home.

This isn't really an upset. The Jazz aren't actually the powerhouse of the West. I thought could win this game. We should start another losing streak. We don't want to keep winning games now, do we? [IMG]
