Help me please tell me this trade does not go down. Right now the Warriors will probably have to pay NVE $11M for next year but Damp's K will come off (when he opts out). Taking on Mutumbo and Shandon Anderson who have contracts for next year and Thomas (contract expires) is plain stupid. Knicks have absolutely no one to offer the Warriors, no picks, no young talent. St. Jean/Mullin should just hang up whenever Isiah calls.
It's hard to see who get's the better of this trade, but they finally do get some up-post support in the lin-up.

The Warriors once again make pathetic trades. Kurt Thomas is the only good bargain the Warriors could possibly get. Shandon Anderson is a guy that you can't use as a starter. This year he's only averaging 7.9 ppg and 2.80 rpg, Mutombo is old, and his best days are behind him. The Knicks get the better deal. Marbury, Van Exel, and Houston? That starting three is dangerous. And they'll have a legitimate center in Erick Dampier.
