I hope last nights game showed perfectly why I think McNabb is a better QB. When the game is on the line, he just does not make mistakes. The two guys have very similar stats overall. Except turnovers and wins, and those to me are the only stats that really matter.

I must say thought, that Culpepper played very well. And if not for a few key mistakes, the score could have been different. But it's the key mistakes that separate the winners from losers.

You are right! I SEE THE LIGHT!!!! MCNABB IS A GOD!!!! [IMG]

I still would take Culpepper over McNabb. McNabb played very well last night, and he deserves a lot of credit. Culpepper, in my estimation, made 1 key mistake, and that was the fumble. But the ONLY reason the Vikings were in that game last night with the play of our offensive line was because Culpepper was playing well, and he wasn't even playing at the top of his game. He amassed over 340 yards passing.

Again, McNabb is a good QB. I think Culpepper can lead the Vikings as well. I would say that McNabb should have had a lot more yards given all the time he had in the pocket.

It seemed to me culpepper lack the agressiveness running the ball, and was afraid to go down field, i would take him over mcnabb. If mcnabb was going vs eagles D and culpepper vs vikes it is different score in favor of culpepper

This is just rediculous. You guys will never give McNabb his just due. Whats the point of arguing, you want Culpepper you can have him. The fact is though, in 5 years as a starter McNabb has 46 wins and Culpepper only has 30. Thats good enough for me. And about the Eagles D, they were on teh field for 38 minutes yesterday. To me, thast not a great Defensive performance.

The worst thing Culpepper did last night, besides his typical fumblitis, was his inability to decide whether he wanted to throw or run. He hesitated and that was the end of the decision. The Eagles defense forced him to do that.

As an unbiased third party, I think both quarterbacks are good QBs with weaknesses. I think Culpepper has better physical skills and McNabb is a smarter player. I see little separation between the two really.

My opinion is that the Vikings beat themselves last night as much as the Eagles beat them. Take the Vikings penalties and his stupid goal line fumble away, and this may have been a Vikings win. They probably left 12-20 points on the field with 4 plays. If the Vikings get a lead late in the game, McNabb would have been more likely to make mistakes because he is one of the top talents on their offense....he's the playmaker. As it turns out, he didn't have to push things with a lead, and he was smart enough to take what he was given.

Culpepper is a smart player, although yesterday's game he saw a lot of new defensive looks. Philly was playing 3 DE's, which is highly unusual. The hesitation is a sign that Culpepper was confused.

E4L, I have given McNabb is credit. He is a good QB. I personally like what I have seen from Culpepper better, though. Its just a personal opinion, nothing more.

I'm sorry, but I'm not impressed. I watched the game last night and McNabb for the most part was inaccurate as usual. The non-TD that TO caught was underthrown and the first 4 passes over 5 yards that McNabb threw weren't even close. Is he a winner? Yes. Is he a good QB? Nothing special.

And I don't want to hear 19 of 28 is 67% either. Anyone can complete 67% when they throw for 5 yards a toss.....

McNabb throught deeper than Cullpepper, and he had a great passing game last week 2. ha

Kordell has had more good seasons as a starter.

Steelerfan, you have got to be joking. I am not even going to take you seriously. I know you are trying to get a rise out of the Eagles fans, so I will let it go.

Drunk? Are you kidding me? Kordell led the Steelers to two AFC Championships, is a threat to run and has over 30 total TD's as a season high, (which is something McNabb has never done.)

He wasn't very accurate or consistent and choked in the big game.

    Don't they sound oddly similar?

My point isn't that Kordell was good... so if you missed the point, here's a quarter, go buy a clue... [IMG]

The fact that Culpepper didn't throw the ball downfield has no impact on whether McNabb is a good QB. Culpepper did, however, throw for 340 yards. And if you want to compare last week, I'd be glad to. [IMG]

If this game is in the Dome the Vikes win and Culpepper looks better. I think they are fairly even.
