Derek Anderson scored 27 points in the first blazer win since the Rasheed Wallace Trade. Theo Ratliff and Shareef Abdur Rahim both started after Zach Randolph was late for 4:45 Shootaround. Randolph accepted and came of the bench with 17 points and 10 rebounds in 31 minutes. The New Blazers SAR had 13 points and 4 Rebounds in his first start and Theo Ratliff scored 6 points with 5 Blocks and 6 Rebounds. Damon Stoudamire scored 10 points with 8 Assists, and Darius Miles added 11 points and 8 rebounds.. At one point in the first quarter he had 7 of their 8 points. The blazers started off slow, but as the Third Quarter rolled around they pulled ahead with Derek Anderson's 6 Three Pointers.. _______ I watched part of the game on ESPN(Bill Walton again? WTF?) And really couldnt stay up to watch the other three quarters.. I needed some sleep so I watched about Mid Second then fell asleep.. From what I saw It looked like the Clippers where going to come in and take advantage of the confused mind we have with the new players.. But from what I read. They pulled together at the Half and got it done.. I think this is the begining of our winning ways.. The team finally has some chemistry..
This team is playing like they were supposed, with balanced scoring from everyone who plays. Good blowout and I guess Sheed isn't missed much after all. btw ZerotoOne, I think you need a sig change.
I wouldn?t start the wining ways talk yet... We shouldn?t even have to budge a muscle to beat teams like the clippers. Maybe I'm just different but I think a team should destroy teams like the clippers instead of finally coming around at half... I guess its just me. Sheed is very much missed by the players but half fans don?t miss him and half do. I guess I'm the half that does since he always brought excitement to the game. I havent really seen the new Blazers play that much but I'll watch next game and make more judges then.
