ALLNET, it looks like you are sitting infront of the Espnnews channel, hitting us up with up to the minute updates as the trade dealine comes closer & closer. But it looks like the Magic are trying to dump everybody they possible can, Maybe Juwan Horward or Drew Gooden will be gone by 3:00.
Man...this just sucks, rebuilding my ass, Willimas is ways better than Rooks (IMO). I mean..I'd rather keep S.Hunter instead of getting him.. I'm dissapointed
Good trade. S.Williams wasn't gonna be part of this team's future anyways. I'm glad they dumped him. We have too many mediocre PG's as it is.
This sucks...Williams ownz...I'm just happy we got a good Center for a 6'1 PG (that shows you how good he is) I feel good because the Hornets are in my top 5 favorite teams. Hopefully he will shine even more next to Darrel since he is younger . I saw Rooks playing against us and he is good...He just doesn't get enough Minutes in New Orleans , but uhhh...Howard and Declerq still here?
yea...williams was really ur only atheletic and exciting player besides T-Mac of course...I dont really like this trade!
shammond has been a disapointment. hes has tons of potential, i cant figure out why he doesnt live up to it. hes shown signs of comming around with his shooting, and his descision making is steaky at best. his handle and speed are never in question, but you still need more then just that to make it as an nba point guard
This trade means nothing.. I can tell you right now that the only reason the Magic did this to see if Rooks was a worthy member of this team.. His contract is up after this year and consider this a trial run... I am glad it was someone that has one year left on his contract rather than two or three years... Its a ok trade.. Shammond wasnt getting time here, and Rooks wasnt getting any there.. Rooks might have a chance here and Shammond COULD play.. not saying i know or not.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dj_premium_plus:</div><div class="quote_post">shammond has been a disapointment. hes has tons of potential, i cant figure out why he doesnt live up to it. </div> lmao..maybe because he averages like I dunno...6 mins a game? lol I think is around 15mpg ... but he barely plays here. I hope he gets to play a lot in New Orleans.. lol people said there is a reason why Williams has been in like 5 teams...well Rooks has been in like 8 now....He is here to Mentor Steven Hunter and Zaza I'm sure...he is like 30 something .. contract is up by the end of this season so I like this deal. I hated Williams barely playing anyways. Here is the Official Link
So Shammonds gone now. That's one less PG/SG the Magic have to worry about. I can't say anything about the other guy exceot for he better bust his ass and get them rebounds and blocks for us.
That's what Steven Hunter is there for . Hopefully he can teach Steven and Zaza how to do more things.
Well, honestly I don't know what to think of this deal. 1st, it clears a little more room for Gaines to hopefully get a few mins a game.(not garbage). The part I don't like it now we have another veteran and Rooks and Declerq will get way more mins then Hunter and Zaza. I just wish we would play our young guys more. It's a wasted year, I wonder why JD wants to win so badly. If he was worrying about our team he would play the young guys. He's just trying to improve his really really really bad coaching record. It sure isn't working.
If he wants to win he will play Zaza and Hunter.. But JD doesnt seem to know that.. Maybe we have to riot him until he finds out... The funny thing is. He could be winning more games if he just played Hunter and Zaza... I mean they almost beat the Lakers because of Zazas good defense.. Hunter's D beat the Jazz.. And I think even though he only had two blocks... Him and McGrady being out motivated the team.. JD needs to open his mind..
Yeah, JD needs to think of the TEAM's future and if he does that then it could help HIS future. Fans want to see the young guys, not the old guys.
