people constantly argue that Shaq made kobe who he is, that shaq makes any player great, that shaq can make derek fisher a superstar, blah blah, but honestly, did shaq ever win with anyone besides kobe? im not arguiung that shaq does not make kobe better, but why doesnt anyone ever argue that kobe makes shaq better? there are plenty of numbers that state kobe has a bad record without shaq on the team, but of course thats going to be the case in that situaton considering the most dominant big man isnt protecting the paint, which gives teams easy paths to drive in. Shaq WAS once unstoppable...and if you look at the numbers of the times kobe lost without shaq, it was back when he WAS dominant many seasons ago. They both make each other better, i hate it when people claim ray allen could be on the lakers and they would win cause of shaq, thats nonsense...kobe gets double teamed every possession just as shaq does, any difference? No, kobe takes as many shots and has had a solid fg % for his team....he leads the team in assists every season, ft percentage, steals, assists to turnover ratio, CLUTCH SHOTS, i mean come on, kobe is Mr. Clutch (exclude bob horry =) ive said it plenty of times, with the way kobe played last season (outstanding, best of his career) and if shaq had not gotten surgery so late and been healthy, that laker team would have been UNSTOPPABLE, but no one puts the blame on shaq, never, they always give him the benefit of the doubt, but when kobe opens his mouth about something int he media (something shaq does every interview) he gets blasted on by the coaches, media, owners, and his whole team. ******** the lakers dont deserve Kobe Bryant, Kobe should leave and watch the struggling fat albert shaq filled lakers go no where. Seriously.
I'm not even going to get into this one. The pick by Shaq, Kobe comes off the screen, Shaq rolls, Kobe dishes, easy dunk. Yes, Kobe makes Shaq better, and vise versa. And by the way, Shaq STILL is unstoppable. :mrgreen:
