The message in a 100-99 home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in front of 20,252 very entertained basketball enthusiasts: The 2003-04 season game plan, the one featuring veteran acquisitions and a playoff run, is working. This is no time to junk it. Whether Garry St. Jean and his roster-shaping gang were paying attention will become obvious today at noon when the NBA shuts its trade window. The Warriors have been one of the most popular clubs in recent rumors, with Erick Dampier and Nick Van Exel supposedly headed east. Or maybe north. Man, I think I am going to have to cancel my subscription to ESPN insider since you end up posting all of the articles anyways.

I check all the news articles daily so not much gets past me. I suscribe to ESPN Insider but I don't post their articles here, its illegal.
All the Lakers vs Warrior games are battles that go down to the wire, at least when the game is played in Oakland. They've been fun to watch for years now. I remember the best one was when Jamison and Kobe both dropped 50, but the Warriors pulled out the victory. That was a classic between these two teams. And just for the record, anyone see GP explode about how ESPN set up his "fight" with Claxton? Last night they were basically saying he tried to bite Speedy, which it looked like. But it was cleared up by both players today that he was just trash talking, and his mouth ended up basically on Claxton's head. Funny stuff.

Shaq got ejected and the Warriors had I think 20 point lead going into the 4th and they ended up losing in overtime
I remember that game... I was at it . I had nosebleed seats though... oh well I guess I should be happy that I was there. I don't think Shaq got ejected; Phil just decided not to play him for extended periods of time in the 3rd and 4th quarters. The final score was 125-122 in OT.

Yeah, that's the game kobeonfire, would have loved to been at that one.
purple n gold, it WAS during the lockout when Kobe tipped the ball to send the game into OT... I remember vividly from NBA.com homepage main picture he was chasing the loose ball with old laker road jersey (no yellow stripes on top sides) and the title (of the pic) was "Kobe's Big Night"... the one with him and Jamison scoring 50 each happened two seasons after that one, during Laker's run for the second champions, where most of the season, Kobe dominated the ball and pissed Shaq off.......
^ ok so we're talking about 2 different games. The one where Kobe tipped it in happened in the lockout season, according to Fishball. The one where Kobe and Tawn dropped 50 happened in the Lakers' second title run (and the night after Tawn dropped 50 in Seattle I think)- this I know for sure.

I'm starting to remember that one now. But I wasn't talking about that one though. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting kobeonfire:</div><div class="quote_post">The one where Kobe and Tawn dropped 50 happened in the Lakers' second title run (and the night after Tawn dropped 50 in Seattle I think)- this I know for sure.</div> Yep, that's it, and he did drop 50 in Seattle as well to make it 2 straight 50 point nights, don't know if it was before or after the Laker game though.
When the Lakers were shooting that free throw I thought to myself, "no way they tip this one in, just block out". I was so miserablly wrong.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trip:</div><div class="quote_post">Lmao, I love this thread, people arguing over which game was THE ONE. Keep it up Warriors forum! </div>Not arguing...discussing. There is a difference.
From what I see in this thread, there is sufficient reason to call this an argument. If guys are talking(in this case, typing) back and forth about what season a certain game was, it's an argument.
