    Getting sick of Lamond Murray

    http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ap-r...ov=ap&type=lgns

I'm sick of watching Lamond blast off his mouth. I watched the Nets game the other night and he is absolutely terrible on defense! Jefferson did whatever he wanted to on offense and Murray didn't even know where he was half of the time. (This was only 6 minutes of playing time)

I didn't know that Murray also demanded to be traded from Cleveland as well. This guy is all about himself, and that's it. Hopefully the Raps can move him in the off season! The problem is, who's gonna want a guy that doesn't like to play defense and cries all of the time? Maybe the hawks since they have nobody left. [IMG]

Thats why I respect kevin as a couch, he doesn't care how long you've been in the nba, he gives you a few opportunities to produce and if you dont your out till the other chance given. I think that kind of motivation to impress a tough cough like kevin helps certain players improve there game and its a plain fact he was hurting the raps with his defense.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Murray ripped O'Neill after playing just six minutes in Toronto's 91-72 loss to the New Jersey Nets on Friday night.

O'Neill inserted Murray into the starting lineup because of injuries to Vince Carter and Jalen Rose, but yanked him after he allowed Richard Jefferson to go 3-for-3 from the field.

i think its well deserved...he was given yet another chance, and he played like garbage. how many chances does he want? he claims he played "great defense" in other opportunities he was given, but i dont think the words "great defense" have ever been used to describe that chump in his life.

its simple with K.O. you dont play good D, you sit on the bench. he didnt come to play, so he rides the pine.

    Murray:"They should have traded me"

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The disgruntled NBA veteran said last month that he wanted out of Toronto and general manager Glen Grunwald promised to try to make that happen prior to Thursday's trade deadline. Unfortunately for Murray, there wasn't a huge market for a 30-year-old forward, making $4.5 million US per season and shooting 35% from the field. Murray also has two years left on his contract. Still, he believes they could have found a way.

"They should have traded me (and) got somebody in here who is going to dive on the floor and lick the bench and be hungry," Murray said. "I've been here (in the NBA) 10 years. You're going to get what you get out of me because I already know what to do when I get out there. You just have to have opportunities. I get an opportunity, six minutes, yank.

"I didn't even get in with five minutes to go when we were getting blown out by 25," he said. "Other people who haven't played got out there. Yeah, they made some mistakes too. I make mistakes, I'm on the bench."</div>

They shouldnt have suspended him, but IMO just let him sit on the bench forever. They might need him if others are playing terrible.

    hes been doing that anyways.

you cant let a player talk trash about the coach and not take any kind of action. GG doesnt decide who gets PT and who doesnt...he decides on suspensions. he was right to step in and take action against chump murray

thats his new name btw...i will no longer refer to him as "lammond" he know now and forever known as "chump" murray :bigthumbu

well, "chump" murray does not seem to have any good assets...his defesne is crap, his basketball knowledge is pretty bad for a veteran, he's not a team leader (or any type of leader for that matter), he's not a high-spirited player, he's too slow, his jumpshot is too inconsistent, his ball-handling skills aren't good, and he doesn't even care about his team...he's a one-dimensional player always thinking about himself...a true chump

He had it coming sooner or later. I feel for him though, but at the same time, it's not like he made the most of the time he'd been given. It was surprisin to hear him talk sh*t about KO's defensive mind tho... woah.
