I really doubt a team will take a chance with him. Sure, he can still get the rebound but thats about it. His energy is probably low because he is so old and to top that off he is a cancer in the clubhouse, he will ruin all chemistry to whatever team he goes to if he goes to one. You never know though with some of the GM's in the league, they could take a chance with him.

The Sixers could really use him, defense wise, as that is our main concern right now, asides from team chemistry. Even with his age, he still might be effective for say 15-16 minutes a night?
No I watched this documentary on him on ESPN2 and he doesnt seem to be in good NBA shape. I want him back in the league for entertainment purposes, not to make a team better becasue I dont think he can. Did anyone watch Celebrity mole? He was on it and he won!!
I cant really see what team D Rodman would land on. Back in the day, I would say he could be useful on a team like the Mavs. But I dont think Rodman would be that affective in the west. With Rodman way past his prime, I dont think he can keep up with the likes of Tim Duncan or any of the top post players in the west. And that would be the only reason a team like the Mavs would sign him. But back in the day, you could throw dennis rodman on just about PF/C. And he would not only shut them down with is pshyical on court play. He would also take them out of their game mentally. He was one of the best at getting annoying the best post player on the opposing team, which led to them making alot of mental mistakes. So I sure his mental edge would still be their if he return to the league. He might be able to return to an eastern conference team. But not the knicks even tho he & Thomas have connection from their bad boy days. I think one old Rebounder on the roster might be enuff for the knicks.
i dunno about rodman joining ANY team. Even if a team did sign him, he'd probably want a lot of minutes because to himself he's "one of the best players to ever play the game and he deserves a chance" or somethign like that. Well he was really great, but hes old and alcoholed-out. I think he's left the aba too soon, or atleast developmental type leagues. He's old and rusty. If he could keep his act together though, and not disturb teams relationships and all that and ruin the flow of practices and warmups and stuff by arriving late and getting in trouble, then he might be able to be an energizer type guy. Beyond that hes old and even if hes not on drugs any more, he looks like he is.
He's too old. If he would stayed in the league, it would've been different, but who's going to sign him to a fresh, new contract at the age of 42, an age where even most of the greats retire at or before? And Ming doesn't know much about anything.
