Have you guys ever heard of him? I remember seeing some thing on mtv about him, and he was one of the top highschool players in the country, this was the year amare stoudemire was a senior. In an allstar game he played against amare and put up better numbers than amare. He went for the nba and got an agent, therefore denying him the chance of ever playing college basketball. He didn't get drafted in the nba because he beat the crap out of a kid in his sophomore year and left permanent damage, not good to gm's. He got drafted in the cba and i don't know anything about him since that. Have you guys heard of him/ about him?

yeah, straight out of inglewood, amare was the florida kid, he was the cali kid, i believe.

i remember watching him play in some of the hs all american games. he wasn't that great. not even a top 5 hs prospect in the nation, let alone top 1, or 2. (not saying top 5 isn't bad!.. but, you know.. nba draft wise)..

i heard he did something w/ the raptors.. but nothing more.

"Not drafted by a NBA team in the 2002 NBA Draft out of Ingelwood High School (CA). Received a tryout from the Toronto Raptors, but was not signed. He was selected 38th overall (fifth round) in the 2002 Continental Basketball Association Draft by the Sioux Falls Skyforce. Instead of joining the Continental Basketball Association, Collins signed with Darussafaka Istanbul, a team in the Turkish Basketball Association. After signing, however, his contract was cancelled in December of 2002. Collins eventually reached a financial settlement with Darussafaka, and has spent most of 2003 recuperating from a knee injury. He played in the Los Angeles Summer League, and the Cleveland Cavaliers contemplated inviting Collins to their training camp, but ultimately passed due to concerns about his knee." -- Michael A. McCann, Illegal Defense
