of all the 300+ d1 schools..? one team.. i don't really hate many teams in the big east.. because as a part of college basketball, i'm a big east fan.. more importantly uconn.. who doesn't really have any rivals as of late.. other than pitt.. which i'll get to in a second.. g-town just isn't the same, neither is villanova, or st johns.. and syracuse is far too easy.. but pitt.. pitt has really been our rivals in the past few years.. great wars between both teams.. and i don't like pitt at all! i don't like any of their players, i don't give two hoots for their coach.. and i don't like the way they beat uconn! so pitt is high on my list.. other than that.. i'd say duke. so many people talk about them and their stupid coach and how great they are.. so much hype. way more let downs. so annoying. especially listening to vitale rant on them over and over and over and over for the past decade or so that i can remember. just remember the championship game in `99 but.. as them being my 1,2.. i'd have to say the pittsburgh panthers are my most hated team in the ncaa men's basketball.

i don't find kentucky irritating anymore now that pitino is gone and tubby is running the show. i don't think they have half the talent pool either.. but.. they're still on top the rankings every year.
Tubby is a good coach...he doesn't get enough love for what he does. The only knock I ever had against him was when he always played his son Saul who wasn't very good.
don't know how that family came to that decision.. on a college level.. i'd hate to coach my son.. or, if i was the son, i'd hate for my father to be my coach.

I hate Western Michigan. An alum of my school plays there. Silver Laku, anyone heard of him? OK, I'll admit I'm jealous. Being an UNC fan, I'd naturally hate Duke, they're just too good.

I know that we're to post the one team we hate, but I hate many. Basically, I hate the SEC and Memphis, but I'll break it down into the three teams I hate the most. First of all, I hate <font color="Blue">Kentucky</font>. Just like Big Nasty, I respect their history, their coaches, and their players. I just find them really annoying. If you have ever been to a Kentucky game (I've been to four UK tourny games) you'll know what I mean. It's a team I love to hate because of their overwhelming redneck fans (I hope UKFan4Life doesn't read this, he'd love to prove me wrong). After Kentucky, I hate <font color="RoyalBlue">Memphis</font>. I know it may seem strange that I live in Memphis and hate the Tigers, but I hate them because I got sick of everyone in the Memphis media overrating them. Every time you turn on the radio in Memphis, you'll hear someone saying Memphis should be a #1 seed or saying how their athletic programs are up there with UCLA, Michigan, North Carolina, Duke, Notre Dame, Texas, Oklahoma, and Ohio State. It's really hard to take. After hearing them talk all day about how Memphis will win it all, it's extremely satisfying for me to see them lose. Finally, I hate <font color="Red">Mississippi or "Ole Miss"</font>. They are the epitome of redneck trash. Whether it's not playing a team because their players were black or not letting blacks in their college until they were forced to, Mississippi is one school just about everyone can hate. This may be one of those things where you have to live in the area to understand, but these fans just simply make me sick.
Being a UNC fan, I despise Duke, especially because my best friend likes them. Just heats up the rivalry that much more.
