I have hardly watched any NCAA ball this year, or any year for that matter. I like to watch the tourny and rate players by how they play in that. So for you die hards out there rate who you think is the best player by position.
Excluding foreigners and high schoolers... C- Rafael Araujo/ BYU PF- Emeka Okafor/ UConn SF- Luol Deng/ Duke SG- Andre Igoudala/ Arizona PG- Raymond Felton/ UNC
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Shard07:</div><div class="quote_post">Excluding foreigners and high schoolers... C- Rafael Araujo/ BYU PF- Emeka Okafor/ UConn SF- Luol Deng/ Duke SG- Andre Igoudala/ Arizona PG- Raymond Felton/ UNC</div> Tell me what you like about these players. The only ones I have heard of are Okafor, Deng, and Felton. I heard Jameer Nelson was good at PG.
Collegiate only: C - Emeka Okafor (Connecticut) PF - Kris Humphries (Minnesota) SF - Luke Jackson (Oregon) SG - Andre Iguodala (Arizona) PG - Jameer Nelson (St Joe's) I'm pretty sure that will be at least 3/5s of the All-American team this year. PF is a toss-up (also depends on whether you consider Emeka a 4, but he's playing 5). As far as draft prospects go, these guys won't necessarily be the first 5 collegiate players taken, but all should go in the first round, if they come out. Humphries is a stretch but he's putting up mad stats.
Collegiate: C-Okafor (UConn) PF-Kris Humphries (Minnesota) SF-Luol Deng (Duke) SG-Iguodala (Arizona) PG-Jameer Nelson (St. Joe's) I picked Jameer because he looked more NBA-ready than Felton. The rest are self-explanatory.
c-okafor(uconn of course) pf-brian boddicker(texas) sf-luke jackson(oregon) sg-j.j.redick(duke) pg-raymond felton(unc)
redick is not a great pick for the draft, yes he scores a lot, but he is a shooter. the high picks in the draft are usually the more atheletic and quick players. He will be in the nba, but i don't think high. Iguodala will be a higher pick than redick, more athleticism and so much room for improvement.
center - emeka okafor small forward - luol deng power forward - hakim warrick shooting guard - ben gordon point guard - jameer nelson
Center- Emeka Okafor Power Foward- Kris Humphries Small Foward- Luol Deng Shooting Guard- Andre Iguadala Shooting Guard- Ben Gordan I'm not sure if Emeka will be a center in the NBA or not. If he goes to a team like the Suns he would start at Center but he is a better fit for PF.
Center- Emeka Okafor(UConn) PF- Hakim Warrick(Syracuse) SF- Luol Deng(duke) SG- J.J Reddick(duke) PG- Ben Gordon
Ok, here's a thought, you guys are really hell bent with Redick and Deng going draft, but, I'm gonna go and guarantee neither will go. Deng is only a freaking freshman and Redick is only a soph. And, with all the great talent ahead of them, they won't go high this year. Now, for mine. C - Emeka Okafor PF - Hakim Warrick SF - Andre Emmet SG - Salim Stoudamire, Rashad McCants, Delonte West, Ryan Gomes PG - Jameer Nelson Okafor, Emmet, Nelson, and Warrick I think are obvious. I had problems deciphering which shooting guard to go with. But, yea, all 3 are very good and I think Salim is better than big brother Damon. Delonte West, though, I think he's only a soph or junior, is a great player and one of the best I've seen at that position. Ryan Gomes is about as good as it can get there and he's having a great season at Providence. Plus, outside of those guys, Carl Krauser is also a good player. But, yea, there is a tremendous amount of talent in this years draft, so, it should be interesting to see what happens. EDIT: Sorry, but, I just realized that Gomes may be a SF. Not too sure. He could play either seeing as how he's 6'7", so, yea, don't rip me on that. It'd be a toss up at which position he plays in the NBA.
C - Emeka Okafor (Connecticut) PF - Paul Millsap(Louisiana Tech) SF - Josh Childress(Stanford) SG - Ben Gordon(Connecticut) PG - Jameer Nelson(with less selfishness)(St.Josephs) Nate Robinson(Washington)

In the NBA, I see him as a SF.
[quote name='UNCheelz011']c-okafor(uconn of course) sf-luke jackson(oregon) Luke jackson is very good, he is a all around player, he can handle the ball very well for a big guy, he can steal, shot threes at a high percentage(he almost win the three point contest, 2rd place), he can score esaily but the most important one is that he can pass and he is willing to pass the ball, he is not selfish. He will be a good fit for teams like the Rockets and the Spurs.
A lot of the PG's for me. There is such a lack of good ones that this next season will be just plain scary because of their coming. Not to mention other favorites of mine like Felton, West and Deng. I think Gordon and Nelson will have the biggest impact. They're very talented. I'm hoping Telfair and Howard will do well being Highschoolers. Okafor will be a good PF. I just hope his body holds up.

If there is a lack of good PGs (which there isn't), then why will it be scary when they enter the NBA? Also, Delonte West and Luol Deng aren't point guards.
c-Rafael Araujo (robert swift or pape sow) pf-emeka okafor (if okafor center i think charlie villanueva or ronny turiaf) sf-luol deng(Hakim Warrick) sg-shaun livingston pg-ray felton (Chris Paul)
