Magette will be a free agent in 6-7 years if I'm right,he was fa last off-season and Utah tried to sign him but thanks to Corey being unrestricted-fa,we see him doing mad things in LA.
Corey is all ours for years! so is Brand! It's great to finally be able to watch a great Clipper player knowing he'll be there for the next 6 seasons... Unless the greedy owner changes his mind and trades them away

How refreshing it is to know that our two all-stars are going to be here - for at least the next 6 Years! If Sterling screws this one up and trades one of these guys, I don't know what I might do. I'm non-violent by nature, but if he trades Elton or Corey I'll be forced to get medievil on his ***!

Yes, it's very nice to know their locked up for the while, now all the Clips have to do is build around them, they finally have a coach who can take them somewhere, and with some more talent built around(draft picks + free agency), we could be looking at a very good Clipper team a year or 2 down the line.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Warriorfansnc93:</div><div class="quote_post">I like how this guy has improved every year in the league and now is scoring 20ppg.</div> yea thankfully for the clippers he became a free agent the very year the clippers disided to pay up he got i believe a 64 million dollar deal and brand got an 84 million dollar one
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post">If Kaman develops and we get a real PG, we can actually become a <u>WINNING TEAM</u></div> I think Ely has a better chance of leading the Clippers than Kaman. I'll be the first to admit, I don't get the chance to see many Clipper games, other than the ones where they're playing Phoenix, but what I HAVE seen, he looks slow and sloppy.
You haven't seen enough Clipper games then my friend....Kamen is a stud...he and Wilcox are going to be solid players for a long time. I like Ely a lot, but he's not at the level of the other two
Yup, exactly, Kaman needs experience, don't worry about him he'll be pretty good, and Wilcox can be an amazing 6th man in the likes of Al Harrington for us. He's not going to be starting with Brand there but he can come off the bench and light it up.
lol yea Golden State has a good team on paper though this year, and a lot of years actually. The injuries were killer, I mean if the starting lineup was Van Exel, J-Rich, DUnleavy, Cliff, and Dampier, then the bench would be Pietrus (love this guy), Claxton, Troy Murphy, Cardinal and Adonal Foyle, that's not a bad team in any regards but when half of them play 50 something games it doesn't help . I like Golden State, not as much as being a fan but I'll support the team if they're playing a team I don't care for.
Actually, my uncle made jewelry for the owner of the Clippers, he says he dosen't need them to win, he just likes to keep the team to tell everyone that he owns a pro basketball team. Rich mofo...

The nba season is a big marathon, with health, politics, and team chemistry that need to be taken into consideration. I remember Clipper fans weren't too fond of frequent injuries to Brand, Olowakandi, and Lamar Odom. That's pretty injury prone for a good looking group of talent like last year. And then you got the Kandiman and Odom who've got some attitude so it probably didn't work well with team chemistry which is probably why they are gone. It's too bad that Miller walked because of the cap because I think not having a true point guard has really hurt the franchise. Eddie House is a SG and so is Jaric. (I love Jaric btw. He's pretty quick for his size and his defense is actually quite good.) But anyway, I'm going all over the place. Hope the next draft gets you a good true point guard and that the clippers stay healthy.
Jaric has decent quickness, but he's one of those guys that needs more of a commitment to playing defense. Eddie House, Jaric, and Dooling are all SG's, I guess Doug Overton is our only PG? I'd like a PG, Move Jaric to the 2 guard if Q-Rich leaves which is likely, and improve the bench, I like Bobby Simmons, didn't mind Matt Barnes, but Doug Overton, Predrag, House and Dooling don't cut it too well. Dooling is gone, House can be a decent backup, but need to strengthen the backup center position, and a guy everyone is looking at is Foyle, he might now be able to score but as a backup to foul, block and rebound.
