Man i love the grizzlies, 33 and 22, way better than i expected them to do, and still no one really talks about them. In my opinion hubie Brown is coach of the year, no doubt. props to the Grizz, props to Bonzi for playing great even though coming off the bench, props to Gasol stepping up, Swift starting to score (and posterize) Jwill for the dishes, and the threes, props to Posey for the defense, props to Watson for making the most out of his minutes, Battier, Outlaw, Wright, i like all of em. They all play tough and try hard, and look like they're having fun on the court. And still no one talks about em, and so few Grizz fans in this forum, we need to get more, (I know, i'm new to Grizz forum as well, lol) come on people, cheer up for your Grizz, they're making a nice run to the playoffs, they are 11 games over 500.

They really surprised me as well, I always thought they would remain in a slump like the Hawks. Boy was I ever wrong, they're one of the better underdog teams. As good as Pau Gasol is at offense I think we need some real size here, there's no real inside presence. I really like a lot of the workhorses you have on your team, Battier and Outlaw, you have a real good sixth man, Bonzi Wells.

Not to mention your awesome three point shooter Miller, Williams has really upped his game as well. Once you get some more power, more awesome bench players, some inside presence then you're set for next season.

Don't really need a true inside presence when you've got great perimeter shooters, and when someone like Posey can step outside and spread the defense.

I don't think that's true for the Grizzlies. What would you rather see? JWill shooting 8 threes per game or Gasol taking 15 low post shots?

Doesn't matter, as long as they go in. [IMG]

But really, if they could adapt their game to it, fine, but the way Hubie uses his 10 man rotation, it wouldn't be as effective and you think it'd be.

The best thing about this is their best player (Gasol) is not even playing close to 40 mins. a night. This is very useful in the long run. They're more rested during the regular season and they can use this to their advantage during the playoffs. It also shows they're not a one-man show.

Their best players are 'B level' players. Look at James Posey, the player nobody wanted (look up what Denver got in their trade with Houston. That, and Houston let him walk [he was a restricted FA at the end of last season]), and how he is working miracles for us.

Who says it's a superstar league?

Jazz and Grizzlies, team ball, baby.
