Orlando Magic @ Detriot Pistons <div align="center">http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/rasheed_wallace.jpg"> IRasheed is going to have all eyes on him as Pistons fans watch Rasheed and pray that he rips through the Magic defense and tear up the scoreboard with points. Keys To The Game <font color="Blue">Orlando</font> Defense- We lack great defense and we need to buckle down and make some stops tonight if we want to even think about winning this game. Team Effort- The Magic ned to give it their all as a team and don't let McGrady do it own his own. Make the Pistons work for their points. Make Shots-We need to make key shots in this one if we want to win. DOn't put up any stupid shots. Rebounds- We need Hunter and Zaza to get them rebounds for us. Offensive and Defensive <font color="Red">Detriot</font> By PyroManiac Stop Tracy McGrady (Obviously Orlando's best player. If he has a horrible game than the Magic have almost no chance of beating the Pistons. Tayshaun Prince will likely be defending him for part of the game, so it will be important for Prince to keep him outside and prevent him from driving.) Rebound (The Pistons might as well rebound. Get the game over with quickly, show off some explosive rebounding power. Detroit will try to get as many second chance points as possible because Orlando will not be able to matchup to a line of Rasheed, Ben, and Okur. They will be able to destroy the Magic on the glass.) Take the ball inside (Detroit will want to see if they have become a much better inside team with the addition of Rasheed. Pistons will try to take it inside with Okur, Rasheed, and Ben. Orlando would not be able to stop the height and power of the line.) Get good production from Hamilton and Billups (Billups had a triple double against Minnesota and almost pulled the Pistons to a win. Hamilton also had a good game. Even with Rasheed, a great part of the Pistons offense comes from the guard spots. Their scoring will still be important.) Play the Piston's style of basketball/Get the crowd excited (The Pistons need to get back the basics of spreading the ball around and getting open shots. The Pistons also need some smart bench play and some excellent execution on the offensive end. The Pistons are on their home court and need to get the crowd excited. Get some good plays, make some Prediction I'm going to be true here and not give you Magic fans a biased anwser. Anythings possible and we can win any game if we give it are all. But I think that we just won't play as effectively as we should and will fall short of the W. Since the Pistons also have the home advantage Pistons by 4 This is my first preview sorry if thing are short. Didn't have much time to do this.
Not bad for your first preview, good job. If you are going to use my keys, at least spell my name right though. Only suggestion is that I would make the keys a list, it is a bit hard to read and they all seem scrunched together. :bigthumbu I have Pistons by 12. Rasheed will be able to destroy Juwan on the offensive end, so the Pistons will be able to get some points inside.
Nice preview Tim, should keep it up. I say that the Pistons front court will just be too much. Pistons by 11
I have an update for everybody. The Magic are wearing their retro uniforms tonight. They are currently 3-1 while waring them.
Hey Retros.. Sweet... I was going to get tickets to this game.. But its a sunday night and we would get home pretty late.. Oh Well.. This should be a good game.. I am really confident in the Magic's chances, but I don't think they can pull it off.. Maybe a collapse.. Well infact i dont want to win... The Hawks really are starting to lose alot of games with their trading of all stars....
Magic will be in the game the whole way and another collapse will make them lose by 8. I think Gooden will get another double double and hopefully Hunter can play good. Stevenson needs to have a good game. Tmac should get his normal 30+
After 3 Orlando is down by 58-65. Howard has 17 points leading the Magic. McGrady has 10 points coming in second.
Rip Hamilton just fouled Howard on the tying basket, giving him a foul shot that is good.. There is three seconds left.. and we are up by one.. Edit: Rasheed just missed a 17 Footer.. the Magic Win!
Looks like those Retro's paid off overal. Magic win 87-86. Great comeback by the Magic. We are now on a 3 game winning streak!. Maybe McGrady will reconsider leaving Orlando huh. Looks like February is a winning month for the Magic after all. GO MAGIC GO
key to tonight's game: free throws. the Pistons committed WAY too many fouls. the Pistons only shot 65% from the line (our season average is 77%). that's how you lose close games. props to the Magic for sticking around and hitting big shots when they counted.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Crossover:</div><div class="quote_post">See what happens when other people score? When Juwan scores 15 or more, they usually win.</div> Please....T-Mac had a 3-20 night. Anyways, big win for the Magic. T-Mac came up with a great defensive play at the end to give Orlando a chance to win it, after the fumbling in the lane Juwan Howard finally picked it up, put it up and was fouled as well. Detroit wanted to send him to the line, but nice play to get the ball up there and it payed off. Pistons should have got a better shot, they had enough time, should have got the ball to Rip, or Billups, but Magic actually put up a solid defensive stop. Good sign for the Magic, if they can beat Detroit, then they can be a lot of teams in the East.
I said Juwan, not McGrady... Gooden had a solid night, too. Those two and DeShawn will be key in the future for them. And it seems T_Mac matchd Carmelo's latest shooting night.
We actually played some D for a chance. But we need to win as much as possible. We'll get Okafor crazytown trust me.
If you want Okafor you need to stop winning games, Boston are trying to lose and lately they look like they are well set to get the big fella. Good win by Magic BUT LMAO @ the Pistons Looking pretty damn bad right now.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AllNet:</div><div class="quote_post">If you want Okafor you need to stop winning games, Boston are trying to lose and lately they look like they are well set to get the big fella.</div> I know! Damn, we need Okafor so lets start tanking some games. The Hawks will catch up with us before we know it. We're losing lotto balls as the games go on :thumbsdow Anyways, good game I guess. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">For nearly the entire game, Tracy McGrady couldn't make a shot. So with the game on the line, he made a play. McGrady's backcourt steal led to Juwan Howard's three-point play with 3.5 seconds to go that gave the Orlando Magic an 87-86 victory over the Detroit Pistons, who have lost seven of their last eight games. The Magic appeared headed to their ninth loss in 11 games when Rod Strickland missed an open jumper and the battle for the rebound went out of bounds off newly acquired guard DeShawn Stevenson with 11 seconds to play. Holding an 86-84 lead, the Pistons expected the Magic to foul after the inbounds pass. But Chauncey Billups had the ball stripped away by McGrady in the corner. Stevenson flipped a pass to Howard, who threw in a short shot with a Piston hanging on his arm. His free throw rattled in, giving the Magic the lead. The stunned Pistons had a final chance and went to new acquisition Rasheed Wallace, whose jumper from the right wing was an airball. </div> Recap Box Score
heh another missed expectation from that Winless February huh lmfao ...anyways damn I don't want to lose but I do want Okafor. 3-20 and you get 19 pts lol you also get 8 assists and 5 rebounds that's more than LeBron already haha.. So what do we do now? 20+ games winning streak make the playoffs and win the NBA finals against the Lakers? or Lose even though we know we can win to get Okafor?
