Odd to say that being down 14 going into the half is not that bad of shape. That's because we were down 25 though.

The glass will be big in the second half, so we need those big guys. Eliminate there second chances and get a lot of our own.
I say we should keep Kapono out there. At least there will be a 3 point threat on the floor, to keep the Hornets D honest a bit. The end of the half was set up perfect for a Kapono 3 had LJ looked to pass it back. Kapono was wide open.
Fortunately for the Cavs, the Hornets aren't going to shoot 80% in every quarter. We did a nice job widdle the lead down a little bit at a time, and Kapono got some meaningfully time and guess what, he contributed. On a team as bad at shooting as we are, there is no reason why he shouldn't play at least 20 minutes a night. He's not the greatest defender, but at least he's tenacious. He was left one on one against Mashburn late in the second and he stayed with him and forced him into a tough fadeaway. Getting it under 15 at the half was big. We're still in this one.

man the hornets are tough when those 2 get hot. perhaps this is jason's coming out party. a consistent 3 point presence makes us a DANGEROUS team gentlemen. that said, he only made 2 of em, lets hope he can keep it rolling in the 2nd half, these apparant mental lapses and letdowns are the signs of our young team, we need to ween these out pronto if we are going to make a legit push. miami down four to portland right now, philly getting pounded by detroit. it would be HUGE if we can steal this 1 tonight that we have no business being in after a dismal first 17 minutes or so
Kapono can't play any worse D than anyone else out there. At least he can hit the 3. Wow! Kapono gets the start.
cavs down single digits going into 4th quarter usually spells trouble for opponent, especially at the gund. that will be crucial, we need a strong 3rd. this big man depth we have is paying dividends tonight.
