Why complain about Silias' theory on his lineup changes when we are actually winning games now? This isn't Wagner's year, face it. He will only play 10 minutes a game because he isn't versitile. Wagner will not change his mind on playing point guard, LeBron will not be handling the ball on the full court and thats that.
I'm fairly sure we won't be getting rid of Wagner, judging from some of Silas's conversations I've listened to. There's no doubt he has a ton of potential, he just has to work on many parts of his game and figure out what exactly his role in the NBA is; once he does that, he'll be great. The only question is how long it'll take him to get that straightened out, and if he'll be given a chance to, which I think he will - maybe not this year, but if he stays healthy and works on his game during the offseason and in training camp, I think he's got a good chance of being successful in the future.
To actually have Wagner at training camp will be a boost as has missed his first two along with the start of the season. This year is a bit of a wash for Wags. I just hope he does the work to minimise his weaknesses, and becomes a regular contributor in our rotation! Noones doubting his ability. Its his weaknesses that scares people!
I know Wagner will get better, it's only a matter of how patient Cleveland fans and coaches will be. His rookie year, he had the good drive with the right hand and a streaky jumpshot. This year, he has improved his jumpshot and has solid 3-point range. If Wagner can work on his left hand this summer, he'll have an excellent drive. Even though people know Wagner likes going right, he still gets past people. So add a left hand to the mix and he'll be a potent threat.
