Which team is the "Most Improved"?

I'm looking at....Denver, Memphis, Heat, Cavaliers, and the Bucks. The Jazz counts as a team that should be considered because of how much we thought they would fall off after their losses in the off-season [IMG] . Seriously though, the first 4 teams are contenders for that honor though. And because of that, Melo and Bron might be considered in the MVP race. They have helped their teams immensely.

I know the T-Wolves were already good last year, but they improved a whole lot aquiring Cassell and Sprewell. If they win the NBA Championship, which I think they will, then they would be my pick for most improved.

The Heat have more wins right now at this point in the season than they did all of last year. But I agree, the most improved team in the NBA is the Nuggets, the Heat come close, but the Nuggets are the most improved.

What about the Grizzlies? They've been the NBA's doormat for years. I can't decide between the Nuggets and the Grizzlies. Overall, I'm leaning more towards the Grizzlies because some of the more "elite" teams are watching them and hoping not to meet because of their style of play. I may be wrong though. Nene is great.

I think the Bucks are cause I thought they'd be real bad at the beginning of the season but theyre doin alright this year. I was real surprised how well they were doin when I saw their record. Michael Redd's doin great too.

Hmmm..... The Nuggets because they only had 17 wins last year and now they have 32 wins and 8th seed in the west.

I vote grizzlies, i expected the nuggest to decently this year, their roster sounded great with melo, camby, nene etc. but i really expected nothing from the grizzlies, there only real star player, and i use that term losely is pao gasol, they just play really great as a team and have great coaching, they do have a very deep team as well. I vote Grizzlies for the most improved.

that is a difficult decision, so many teams have improved a lot since last year. 3 teams in the midwest alone are great this year, when no one knew if they'd have any shot at the playoffs. I think it has to be a team from the west just because the competition out there is tougher than the east, all the powerhouses are in the west. To me its between denver and memphis, both are great this year in the west.

Im saying the Grizzlies since they have never made it to the playoffs and they now have a chance to for 2nd place I would have to say the cavs you can till they are building up momentum and I think they are also gonna make a run towards the playoffs

Denver has improved a lot over the year. Picking up Melo and Camby healthy. They have a good team. Havin 13 more wins then you did last year total this year at the allstar break? thats deffinately improving.

How the hell did the Bucks improve? [IMG]

Anyways, I'd say the Nuggets and Grizz. Both improved their teams, but in my eyes I still didn't look at them as playoff bound, and they have suprised many this season, mostly due to F/A and draft. Just to add to the discussion, out of those 2 I'd still say Memphis is the more all around team, and do think they will hold their place in contention for the playoffs. I expect the Nuggets to fall off, and if the hole is big enough, Portland or Seattle may be able to jump into their spot.

I think it's the Nuggets. In the ultra-competitive western conference going to a sixth/ seventh seed from one of the worst teams last year is truly a miracle. I'd give two thumbs up for coach Bzdelik to keep this team together and motivated.
