    Davis skit costs Cavs $5,000

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The NBA fined the Cavaliers $5,000 for a skit involving the team mascot Moondog (Jon Cudo), who wiped the court with Ricky Davis' No. 31 Cavs home jersey, which was at the bottom of a dust mop.

    Cudo declined to comment.

The incident happened during the second quarter of the Cavs game against the Boston Celtics at Gund Arena on Feb. 9. The skit was more than likely in retaliation for Davis' comments about the organization and the city of Cleveland after he was traded to Boston in December.

"I think it's great if they're fined," said Davis, on Feb. 12. "But I think it's funny how the organization went at such lengths to put on a [skit] that was silly." In a statement, the Cavs said: "We accept responsibility and will pay the fine and move on."</div>

I'm so glad we got rid of him.

Davis certainly doesn't do himself any favours! Comes out with dumb comments. He must have been the worst locker room influence!

He was seemingly getting at Z and Newble when he was here!

Everyone except Boston is happy with his situation.

Yeah, I'm sure it took great lengths to find one of his old jerseys that nobody was buying, and then to hand it to the mascot and force him him to get down on the ground and wipe the floor? Wow, such lengths. Ricky truly is a moron.

I was actually looking for a Celtics Ricky throwback. I don't even think it's even been produced.
