Raptors sign point guard Raptors have signed PG Janerro Pargo for the rest of the season and have placed forward Lonny Baxter on the IR right knee tendinitis, and waived centre Eric Montross. http://www.nba.com/raptors/news/PR_pargo_040224.html well from the little i've see from him with the Lakers he seems to be a good signing
He played for LA, I don't remember his game well enough though to tell you what's good. Hopefulyl he's better than Milk Palacio.
I've seen him play many times and from whats available I think this was a pretty good pick up. Hes a quick guard, just like Palacio, and I believe hes a better shooter. Whatever minutes he will get I can imagine he will be as productive as Roger Mason Jr, I bet this signing was just to give Alvin and Palacio a little bit of a break untill Jalen and Vince come back.
He's got speed, and seems to play a bit of defense, from what I remember. He kind of reminded me of a Tyronn Lue. I liked this guy a lot at first and expected some good things out of him, but his inconsistency is why he was released from the Lakers, and also the fact we didn't have room for him.
He played pretty good yesterday.. I think I remember seeing him in a Lakers uniform, I definetly knew who he was.
That's good Janerro finally found a new job in the NBA. He just wasn't a fit for the Lakers. He made bad decisions with the ball, he had a horrible jumpshot. Just some of the simple things you'd demand from a basketball player that Pargo just didn't have. Anyway, I wish him the very best in Toronto.
I havent seen him before but if he s really like you guys say then it sounds like a good pick but when is he gonna play?
Jannero Pargo has a bad shot, but in time it will come. JP can cross up anyone he wants to, seeing what he did to the Nets back up PG. Man, Jalen Rose see's something in this kid so he must be good. Rose went balistic after the cross he pulled. His shot aint that great but he can pass pretty well, so i think hes a good addition to the raps if he sticks with the raps i can gaurantee this kid will work his way up to a starting spot in the future.
Jannero Pargo is learning how to shoot better, and boy this guy can handle the ball. Did you guys see him make the Nets pg fall??? This kid can also pass better now hes improved a lot since his rookie season, Jalen Rose see's something in the kid so he must be good. Slowly but surely i can guarantee he will work his way to the starting line up.
