<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">At the conclusion of the Lakers' most wildly successful week in two months, Shaquille O'Neal leaned back and harrumphed.

"Right now, we're just doing what we're supposed to do. I'm not really impressed how we're playing," he said after Sunday's 104-92 victory in Phoenix.

The Lakers' four-game winning streak is their best since a 10-game streak that ended Dec. 12. Kobe Bryant is suddenly a dominant force again, O'Neal is healthy and Gary Payton is semi-comfortable.

But O'Neal won't be impressed, he said, until "we blow teams out every night" -- and, perhaps, until his team beats some worthy competition.</div>

Shaq is correct. We've beaten four bad teams during this streak. Now if we can play quality, healthy teams in Minnesota, Sacramento, San Antonio, or Dallas and possibly blow them out on certain nights, that would be very impressive.

I agree with Shaq and he's right, but it was disrespectful to say what he did about Steve Kerr. This guy has hit more clutch shots than Shaq has hit free throws. Kerr questioned Shaq's killer instinct, and I don't see how he can take that so offensively. He's an analyst now and he's supposed to be doing those things, dumb of Shaq. With the way he sometimes disappears in the clutch and/or misses so many freethrows, you should be questioned about your killer instinct.

Sure, he's not impressed because Kobe is really leading this team [IMG] , after all we did bairly win two of those games, he better be impressed. The defense needs work, but were getting there. I just can't wait till Malone is back actively in the lineup for 2 or 3 weeks, that will be our real test to see how we match up with the other top teams in the West. I'm very impressed with how the Lakers have been playing, regardless of the teams they've been playing. LA has played very well down the stretch of games, and we have got the clutch baskets and defensive stops when we really need them, which is the reason we edged Golden State and Portland.

shaq isn't happy because kobe is getting all the attention on their winning streak. i agree that their wins aren't that impressive, but a win is a win. i don't know what he was thinking when he said that kerr doesn't know what instinct is. did he watch the chicago bulls when kerr was playing? well, i guess shaq is shaq [IMG]
