Hey KJ you mind me posting? I was supposed to make the preview from the Rockets' point of view but too busy today. [IMG]

Anyways, I think that there is a difference in terms of talent level which benefits the Rockets. Yao can own Z, Cato can hold Boozer to a 10-7 game, Francis can be a headache for LBJ and Jim Jackson can score in bunches. Sure the Rockets are fatigued, but I think that this is too lopsided a game to be as close as most people mentioned. Sure, I might be a bit biased, but I say Rockets by 7.

Yao Vs Z is a great matchup. The two players I really worry about in this game are MO Taylor and Jim Jackson. Cat, yao, and Francis will all get theirs no matter what. Its controlling their scoring role players that really worries me. The Cavs have a habit of letting unlikely players look like all stars...and if i was to make a guess, tonight it will be Taylor.

Taylor will be out for redemption after a bad performance against San Antonio last night. Watch out Cavs.

My concern is how many looks Mobley and Jackson will get from range. You seen what Davis and Mash did to us before. We cant give them early looks otherwise at Houston, things like 20+ leads will not be wittled away!

Well the Hornets started out the last hame boiling hot too, not team could keep shooting as they did throughout a game.

Houston won't stop shooting from deep, so if they are cold it can be a good thing.

BTW, you won't see Francis isolated on James, that just would not be fair. You will see a lot of JJ on him and double teams.

I will take the Cavs by 2. I think we are playing pretty good basketball lately. I just can't pick against us right now. Z and Yao have similiar games. Boozer gets a double-double.. LBJ gets 25+ pts, 10 rebs and 5 asts.. and yea Kapono gets a couple big buckets.. I Believe too.

Trip, tall PFs can give Booz problems but I still think he'll have a big game tonight vs. Cato. The overall talent difference is there, but I don't think it's as huge as you think. We like playing against half court teams so I think this will be a good game but I'll give the nod to the Rockets in a close one.

    Go Cavs, prove me wrong!

Boozer has his problems against the athletic power forwards!!!

Players like Garnett, Kwame, Martin etc.

He loves the bigger physical centers as he has footspeed on them, while being just as strong! You find he gets position better for boards and put backs on players like Cato and Taylor. Booz should be a contributor tonight!

    10 minutes before gametime fellas.

I actually hope that Williams starts, that way JJ has to guard him, freeing Bron up to take Francis or Mobley at will.

OT: Saint Joe's wins again now 25 and 0.

Anyway....I'm REALLY interested to see who Silas goes with again tonight.

I want EWill or Kapono to start at SF, each getting 20 minutes or so tonight at the spot.

As much as Williams is better suited for us off the bench, he has sucked big time there. I guess with Diop returning, he isn't required to backup Booz!

I like Newble starting, but against New Orleans, he tested my faith!

When Ewill doesn't start, he seems to force his game too much when he finally gets in. He was out of control against the Hornets and was hurting the team. Ideally, I'd like to see him come off the bench, but if he's going to be that ineffective in a bench role, we may as well slip him back in the starting line up.

What a shock... we come out sloppy.

Newble is the worst shooter in the NBA, I get more scared watching him shoot from 18 feet then I did watching Miles.

toronto loses at home to washington tonight, and boston trails milwaukee in the 4th, close game though. lets get rid of these turnovers NOW, and get newble off the floor, he's just not playin well, and he is shooting, thats never good.

I wasn't upset when they elevated Newble into the starting 5. Right now I could kill because of him!
