He will land between 5-10, in my opinion... I wouldn't be surprised to see any of the following teams take him: Atlanta, Orlando (if those two miss out on Okafor/Howard), Charlotte, Philadelphia, LA Clippers, Boston (perfect fit, IMO) and Cleveland. Teams that would probably not select him, as he wouldn't be needed, even though they may be selecting in the range are Washington, Chicago, Phoenix and Golden State (all stacked at PG). OK, maybe Chicago would draft a PG for the 3rd consecutive time. I like Nelson off the bench a lot better than RICK BRUNSON..
Essentially I think this guy is a top 5-10 pick. But with the European fad going on I can see him dropping down to the 10-15 range. It happens every summer, some european(s) get some moniker like "The next Dirk, but stronger" or "Plays like Pau Gasol but smarter" and talented North Americans get looked over (eg. Josh Howard 29th pick)
Phoenix should stick with Barbosa/Eisley for now and go for a big man in the draft Exampleaul Davis,David Harrison
I would think that the Bobcats would take him and use him to essentially build that franchise around. That is, unless they feel as if Hakeem Warrick or Andre Emmet would be better. Either way, any of those 3 would be good for them. But, I really see them using their 4th pick on Nelson because he's a point guard and good rookie point guards are hard to get.
the sixers need jammer more than any other team...they need a publicity stunt(he froim philly) and they can start to rebuild around him
I'd like him to go the Cavaliers personally. I've been reading about JBB, that they believe they're in need of offense. He provides just that along with great defense. Seeing as he's so good at that as well, the Sixers, Magic, Celtics and Mavericks could make great use of him. He passes real well, over 6 per game, nice to see unselfish players especially in college.
I almost guarantee he will be a top10 pick. I don't see him slipping past the Clippers at 10 even if he is still avalible at that point.

I like Nelson but he is very small. He measured at 5'10" at the Chicago predraft camp last year. Right now he would be a top 10 pick because his stock is very high with the sucess of St. Joes this season. I feel his stock can drop though if he underpeforms in the NCAA torunament and/or he does not do well during private workouts before the draft.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting KingCarmelo:</div><div class="quote_post">I heard we will be the number 1 pick? Any truth to that??</div> lol, doubt it.
I think he is a top ten pick,I want him to go to Philly but Snow has a size advantage so he would likely come off the bench unless Snow was traded or somethin.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting KingCarmelo:</div><div class="quote_post">Top 3 then??</div> 5-10 most probably
^When was the last time you contributed any intelligent basketball conversation to this site? Anyway Jameer will be a top 10 pick my guess will be 8 or 9.
Cavs should go for Ben Gordon Celtics are good with Chucky Atkins right now Clippers should go for Telfair I think Jameer would be a perfect fit in Toronto Imagine Jameer,VC,Rose,Bosh,Marshall on the court at the same time...(Sniff Sniff)I smell the future....they could use a center though considering Bosh has been playing center all season
