Just found out that the Hawks have released guard Dion Glover which was requested by the player himself.

Surprised by this, he is actually a decent player that can score and in bunches. Will be interesting to see who goes after him.

With Lucious Harris struggling this year. And Hubert Davis & Zoran Planinc producing nothing at all. I think the Nets could really use a double-digit guy like glover coming off the bench. He isnt a great shooter. And thats what the Nets really need. But right now the Nets scoring depth off the bench is horrible, so he can help with that. And he a good rebounder for a guard. And the Nets style of play depends alot on how well their perimeter players rebound. So he would fit right in with Kidd, Kittles, Jefferson in that aspect as well. Maybe the Nets might give him a look.

Nobody wants to play for the Hawks anymore.
That means no more fans. This franchise is hitting rock bottom.
I agree that the Nets might sign him. They need a good scorer at the bench.
Dion is a good player.A lot of teams will be throwing contracts at him.

This cap space is great, but if they keep losing, no one is going to want to go to them. (Except maybe Kobe if he wanted to single handedly bring this team back to life.)
