<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Magic fans who corralled the milestone basketball that Tracy McGrady kicked into the stands last Friday got their wish: A chance to meet T-Mac.

Jim and Sara Hodsdon met and posed for pictures with McGrady before Tuesday's game at TD Waterhouse Centre.

McGrady scored his 10,000th career point with the ball against the Denver Nuggets, becoming the second-youngest player to record the feat. McGrady, upset an official did not call a foul on a play, kicked the ball while it was on the floor. Then, after fans threw it back, he punted it into the upper deck, near section 236, where the Hodsdons were sitting.

The Hodsdons, longtime season ticket holders, gave the ball to Chris D'Orso, vice president of marketing, despite fans around them advising them to keep it. "They (the Hodsdons) wanted to know if I really was going to give it back to Tracy," D'Orso said, smiling.</div>

T-Mac could be the first player in history to play for both the USA National basketball and soccer team in the Olympics :P.
