What is everyone's thoughts about trading McKennize and for what price? If you have a player that wants to be moved, then move him. However, I do consider McKennize being a top 10 DB (probably around 7-10) and value must be attained. The Saints have offered a 2nd and a possible late round pick but I think that Charmin must stand his ground on the 1st round pick. With Hunter going down in Dallas that should bring another team to the table. Also, with GB's depth issues at DB, holding out for a 1st rounder is a necessity.
I think I'd take the second and the late rounder for McKenzie. I think that's a fair price. He's decent, but I don't think he's great. I'd call him second tier as far as the great CBs go in the NFL right now. I will say, though, that I'd much rather keep him. The Indy game went a long way towards showing how shallow our depth in the secondary really is.
I would remove Dallas from that conversation. It appears they are going to go another way. I think too many teams have gotten burned by this type of trade (player for high draft picks). If I were the Packers, I would take the second round and maybe a bottom of the roster player as well. That is assuming keeping him is not an option.
Dammit what the hell is going on with the situation? The Saints say they want him, then they don't, they want him, then they don't. WTF?
Yea, it looks like Dallas will be out of this. They are taking on an ex-packer in Tyrone Williams if he can pass his physical. I remember a couple of years back when his wife slashed his '78 Chevy Nova's tires and beat the hell out of him. And he got charged?!?! WTF?!? TW was a good DB in GB. We'll see if there is any gas in the tank at age 31. If there is, its a good street FA sign by Dallas.
Wow...I didn't know that Tyrone Williams was out of football. He was in Atlanta last year, right? He and Tod McBride?

Oh, that's right. I remember now. He did have two bad games and they cut him loose. Stupid, if you ask me. He may not be a starter anymore, but I'm guessing he'd be a good nickel corner and/or safety at this point since he's lost a step. I remember thinking that Atlanta gave up on him too quickly.

I stand corrected, Cowboy71. I guess my memory is going. They must have benched him last year rather than cutting him. I'll just shut up now.
